    • Got my CBR yesterday evening and went for a small ride of 100kms. The bike felt awesome. As some of you mentioned i felt the knocking in low rpms. May be coz that i am used to my FZ's gear shifting in the cities. The suspension is the best bet. I loved that takes easy on bumby and pothole roads.
My TVM xbhp friends where present for the delivery. Here are some pics which are uploaded in TVM G2G thread.

        • vicky: did you change the bulb position or the handle position during the shoot?

reason is n the high beam with the philips bulb the left 4th pillar seems more illuminated & the right wall a bit dark compared to stock bulb.

I am changing to a crystal vision (have spare lying since long) & will post the result here.

Going beyond the specifications would not only affect the top end but also fuel efficiency. And it may affect the chasis as well. If you want a better tyre operating within the specs, Pirelli is the best bet which I myself would be getting very soon.

Planning to get one the very same day when my cbr arrives.
The bullet cover comes in a num of varieties and the quality really varies with the color options available. When I went to the shop, I was entertained with 3 colors namely orange, yellow and white. Amid them, white was finest in terms of quality. Surprisingly the price was same for all three. I got it for 500 bucks and it can be washed if goes dirty. The material is of raincoat quality e.g. duckback material type. Yes, there was a name printed on its cover, it is "IMPACT".

Your bike is way better than babes, only thing is that you need a proper vision to mull over this fact. :D

                      • ^ They have two grades. One is mineral and the other is semi-synthetic. Some are pouring in mineral and some semi-synthetic. I talked to Honda about this and they recommend both.

I was also charged 330 for 1500 ml

Aargee, I can't assure you, but I'll surely try.
Yesterday I had bought one for Ajay. I had to do a lot of talking to the Manager over there. I told them that he'll be coming for the service today. So he just want to buy it and keep to be on the safer side. And then they finally gave me one.
They had initially got 8 oil filters. Yesterday when I was there, there were 3 CBRs for service. I had bought one oil filter for Ajay. I had informed about the oil filter to the Bangalore folks yesterday so that they can get their service done. I'm not sure how many more they're left with. I'll give you an update by EOD.

                          EDIT:

They had changed mine to fully synthetic oil (10w30). It is priced at Rs.504 for 1ltr bottle.

Obviously, without doubt, the top end will be affected.

I agree, people have been asking me a lot about the bike, and trust me, she enjoys all the attention she gets.

Will be giving the bike for servicing tomorrow even though I did not finish 100kms, looks like I am the only one touching 1 month and not even done 1000kms...
