You are right about the first one which is in finance.
About bikes it is known as Paint Protection Film. It is an external film which is transparent and is installed by 3M. It is very costly, a single PPF job will go upto Rs 1,000 on a bike....It is industrially manufactured and avaliable....most wax and polish business do advertise this but its not the same which is given.!!! for cars usually such coats are given....
      They are After Market products!!

      • guys i have a question...i got my cbr serviced at 1000 kms and got the oild changed but not the oil filter as they didnt have it...i got a call from them today that they got the oil filters, the bike now has 1350 kms on the odo...i asked them if upon changing the oil filter, they will be putting new oil and who will be bearing the cost...they said that they will drain the oil in a bucket, change the filter and then put the same oil again as it has only been used for 350 kms...is this ok? what would you recommend i do?

          Yes, perfectly fine..
When draining ensure the bucket is clean cz the oil will be refilled back again...
change the filter which is a must (you will have to pay).....
So total expenses should of only the filter....
Oil you have already changed, You wont be charged for labor since it is covered free as it was supposed to be done in 1st service free of cost.

By the way whats the price of CBR sareeguard ?
Bike's on-road price inclusive of sareeguard. My dealer in Bangalore charged 150/- for the number plates and they are an accessory. I am not sure if they will discount the saree guard price if you do not opt for it.

                  This looks cool!

But, from my previous experience with 3M Di Noc Carbon Vinyl Wrap, it starts to come off around the joins and edges upon getting heated up... and I guess the exhaust shield would get pretty heated up after a long ride...

Have you faced any such issues yet?

Even a semi-synthetic costs about Rs 500 & upwards & fully Synthetic costs about a K or so. For that price, I could only expect a 100% mineral oil, which is good during the initial period too.

Anyway, try posting all the sides of the oil can, may be, we could figure out something.

Tks for bringing to the attention.
i have been saying this from long and even confirmed with HSMI twice. The oil is full synthetic. The same can used as in the pic. And full synthetic comes from the factory as well..
You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

Oh!!! Yes!!! I recall it now. Its way better than waxing, though expensive. IF I decide to buy C250R, I'll go for PPF rather than waxing. Its good in long term

So the fully synthetic engine oil made by HMSI is way too cheaper than other fully synthetic engine oils such as Helix Ultra & Motul ? Is this what you're saying?

This is good i am liking what Honda is doing don't have shell out 800+ rs for oil change , its just like how fiat does they use Petronas Selenia fully synthetic oils only available at their service station its cost just 2000 rs for 4lts.
One more thing Helix Ultra is for cars just thought will let u know

                          • Bike care is the toughest part, especially in monsoon. It will be nightmare if you have a black bike. Check the video of the black car after using Turtle Wax products.

Which is the decent car/bike foam wash available in the Indian market???

Is it available only in the honda svc's ...If it is fully synthetic , cheap and in between 10W30 to 20W50 grade ; it willl be a steal for other bikes as well
