      hey guyz,
      I face some problem in my CBR250R . when bike is running AT AN COMFORTABLE speed and suddenly the engine gets off ... what would be the problem???? HELP!!

        went to chandighar today, i asked for chain lube.
        I got chain lube from pidilite for Rs150.

        Is it safe to use this one on o ring chain.
        Also can some one please navigate me to the relevant post or thread and products for cleaning and lubricating o ring chain

        I come cross your post in chain lube section that you bought motule chain cleaner, can you please tell me its price. I was quoted 500 for the same.

          Next time it happens ,if possible just try to see at what engine RPM it happens (is it the same RPM all the time or at different RPM's) & also was the throttle in closed position at that instant.

            Chain Lube help

            I need some help regarding chain maintenance for my Ceeber. Is there a post or some thread regarding it?

            @Argee may be you an include an update on post 7600 on this? I am a newbie and it ll be helpful for me and many more newbies

              Best answerable by showroom people themselves. Take it there n they will check with their device n know about d problem and rectify it.

                  I don't know about that chain lube. The best you can get is Motul chain lube and clean... clean+lube will cost around 1000Rs/.

                  Chain maintenance for CBR is nothing different as other bikes. You can get lot of tutorials and videos regarding the same from google uncle
                  1) Check the chain slack during 500kms and adjust it according to the specification for the bike.
                  2) Use Motul chain clean for cleaning the chain
                  3 Use a Grunge brush/normal brush to remove the dirt's from the chain. The best thing using the motul chain clean is it's very strong enough to remove the dirt, sand and other impurities. Wipe out the excess dirt.
                  4) Lube the chain using Motul chain Lube. Two complete rotations of the chain is needed. While lubing the chain take care that you lube inside the chain not the outside portion. Remove the excess lube with a cloth. Keep the bike for 1/2 hr for the O-rings to get soaked in the lube.
                  Done

                  Note: Some of them use water to clean the chain using a hose after cleaning it with chain clean. If you are doing that do ensure all the water must be dried up before using the chain lube.

                    I have been meaning to ask this a looong looong time ago when i first got the bike home. but i forgot so:
                    Ive been wondering why my front fender doesnt have the "Combined-ABS" sticker like ive been seeing on the Tricolor 250R's? Didnt the old C-ABS 250R's have that sticker there?
                    I'm referrin to this one

                    Secondly: Has anyone managed to get the paint chip off the engine block repainted under warranty yet?

                            Handle bar

                            Hi All,
                            I am not sure if it has been asked already on this thread but I am facing a problem with my seating position on CBR 250R. My height is 5ft5inch and I think I am trying too hard to reach out to handle bars and it puts a pressure on my shoulders and I am putting too much pressure on handle bars when I am braking/when road conditions are not good . Is there a way to raise handle bars in CBR 250R or may be change anything else to overcome this problem.

                              Hey nithesh when i saw the same sticker damaged in my bike asked my friendly neighbour hood sticker maker to make one for me,however i didn't replace the damaged sticker as it had a protective plastic coating on it ...thought will continue with it and change it at a later date as i will have to do a lacquer coating on the home-made sticker.Anyway i used the sticker on the swing-arm.[IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

                                I believe the warehouse jackasses switched my fender with a STD CBR's cos i did see two badly damaged bikes lying there..


                                And ty chicmagnet.... guess i'l just head down to the ASC and get mine done aswell. Hope that paint wont peel off again
