RG anna ... Dunlop is available with most of the dealers .. and its not about spending money , its just that I dint know about the TYRE warranty and procedure and I am sure most of them dont . I came to know all these until I had a word with you and few members around xbhp and thanks to you and others

But then I am very much happy with Dunlop as on today !

Anyways George ... can you post snaps of your peeled tyre ? Make sure you wash before you take any snap as it makes the picture clearer !

Is it? News to me; let's cross check if possible; I'm looking for authentic Dunlop dealer. This means, the dealer should be able to take back the tire incase of manufacturing defect. Can you confirm this point with the dealer you inquire please?

OK anna will do that but then BM LAL doesnt sell anything without warranty or any grey products (Hope you know more about them )

and one more point I would like to make is that getting it replaced under manufacturing defect wouldnt be hazzle as the one of the plant is here in Chennai

        Dunlop India Ltd (Plant 2)
        Ambattur
        512 MTH Road
        Chennai 600053
        Tamil Nadu
        Phone +91 44 2624 8744
        Fax +91 44 2624 4930

And about the share ... Well I dint feel bad as you gave me an Idea and it worked ! Told you long time back ... I will keep learning about all these as I am just an amateur .

        • ^^^ Lol Srivaatsav; did you know I should've passed by that factory over 5000 times till date I live about 5-6 Kms from here; it remains closed to this date, the ongoing strike that I can recall is for atleast 20+ years now (IIRC started in 88/89). The only working Dunlop plant is in Calcutta, IIRC. And the Dunlop you bought...check out, might've been made outside India

RJ anna .. Tyres are made in India and it also has ISI hall mark on it (probably first tyres in India having ISI hallmark on tyre ) JK .. Am not quite aware of the developments about their plants .. The address that I fetched you is from Dunlop website itself

on the other hand, i ended up having quiet harsh words with the ASC guy regarding the issues of my shims, now m wondering to just go there tomorrow and leave the bike with them only. i dont want to do this as i know they will ruin the bike even more, but cant see other option as well. anyone here who can guide or suggest me about wat to do???

Hi Piyush ... any update regarding the above mention problem... i am also facing the same prob.... please inform me about any update in this issue...

              • 10w30 FS gives better FE you say ? Can ya explain a little on this ? If so which brand should I go for ? Honda's ? or any other.

I am due for a oil change. Hence asking

Apparently they are interchangeable on the newer engines. From what I know, both w30 and w40 are alright at least on the cars across the temperature range experienced in most of India.

i called up the ASC right now only, they said that the shims has been dispatched from Vapi and shall reach by tommorow. due to the delay, they have promised me that they will take care of any other issues that might have come up due to valve clearance such engine heating up very fast, lower fe and low performance.

Used Motul 15 w 50 semi synthetic 3 days ago, as my bike was running very rough and the effect of Motul was very good, its running much better than of Honda's oil. it cost me same as Honda's Rs. 750 for 1.5Ltr

Sadly , Prospective owners waiting for their choice of colour or stuck in loan discussions will have to shell out a bit more for their baby...

P.S. CBR150R has been added to the website.
The choice of colours/stickering is making me a tad bit envious.
Why does the premium bike have to be bland? (with the exception of HRC option of course)
