      • Hey people, posting here after a long time and the reason is simply that i have lost interest in the bike as it always gives me some or the other problems and i am tired of contacting Honda.
Anyways.. Now, i tried searching about the AFTERMARKET FRONT BRAKE PADS (on the net as well as the thread) but no luck. I need to replace the front brake pads and need some good advice with a purchase link or tip if possible. Someone did get it replaced with AM brake pads but i dont remember and the search doesnt give any proper result.

I heard it at times during the break-in period. But then I thought it was normal as even my last bike (CBZ) used to emit similar sounds in the first 2-300kms. Have ne'er heard it since.

+1, because in case if you get lucky like me, your dearest ASC will take 23 days

(and counting) just to get the shims for you.

Believe me on that Aargee! Just 1k km on cbr in past 4months. I have started using my rxz again. Tired of visiting the ASC, calling Honda Headquarters and emailing Honda. I am thinking of getting rid of the bike now but just waiting some more time to make any decision.

                    • Delhi/NCR CBR owners:

Is there any CBR mechanic/ASC or Owner, who can identify the problem in CBR250R after taking a test drive?

Usually these service station guys don't know anything, if you report the problem then they will verify and will take corrective action else will say:

                      All Iz Well.

                        2 Reasons,
                        1. HRC has not even left factory. I could not wait any longer.
                        2. HRC colour's Blue is more violetish than I would like. Interestingly the HRC colours I saw in mumbai was different from this one. It may be due to showroom lighting vs sunlight.

In any case, black my initial choice. While it is not very flashy, it is very classy
I plan to put team-bhp and bangalore riders stickers on em. Red lettering go rather well with black.

And finally I now have a white car and black bike.
Congrats Dude! Howz the lady holding up the first few days?

BTW, black looked AWESOME in the evening light! Pity I cant go for Black this time around - I dont want to be kicked in the head by my 6 year old on skates

You might've literally screwed up something!!! I wouldn't say mine is butter smooth, but, certainly sounds more like a motorcycle. The way in which we ride also matters a lot

I think you changed your oil by a different grade 15w50. Are you sure this has nothing to do with it??

Edit: I have no clue why I am seeing a wrong profile picture in my post!!!
