Was it like 2-3 seconds? If yes, then that MAY be normal for the reason of FI

it was more than that say about 20-30 seconds, i know 2-3 secs are normal.

          • ^^^ I'm tempted to point out the electrical mods, but, it isn't theoretically right. Try removing the additional horn, restore back the electrical circuits (hopefully you haven't cut any wires). If the issue still occurs, ASC is your best bet. Almost none has faced these issues.

I hope you've a STD right? Did you feel those were adequate?

And hope you know not to lug the engine during the run-in.
Yeah i got a STD version but it does the job really well. The bybre does mean serious business. And i did test the ABS but didnt find any absolute advantage in braking over the STD. Except maybe in the case of a wet weather test.

The running-in period of the engine was taken great of.

              • Sorry that was Swype that made it sound switch, I meant to say a faulty fuse that would lose contact upon heating... A simple problem with dangerous outcomes

                      • Folks, allow me to post a pic of my brand new Ceeber.
I booked for Tri-Colour, but I finally settled for Black. Main reasons where,
                        1. Shade of Blue was disappointing.
                        2. Waiting period, could not wait anymore!

A Pan shot of me on my ride is attahced in this Post.

                          • I have been a great fan of the CBR ever since the scoops came up. I have been looking forward to own thi beauty for a long time now, and have been following this discussion since day 1 checking it everyday. NO post has gone by dat i wudnt have read.
Now that i am in a position to buy it, finally i went for a test ride of the CBR.

but dont know i felt let down with it. I had great expectations regarding performance but in the short test ride dat i got i wasn't very impressed by it. It felt that it lacked the grunt. I have ridden a friends 220 extensively and didn't find this very different in terms of performanc than it. Nor did the handling impress me much.
Owning a R15 but still i persued the CBR as a dream bike. Is it so or i should ask them for a longer test ride .

LIKE I SAID i have been following this section like a religion and i knew what to expect,.,.,.slow handling compared to the r15 but there was also very high vidration at around 5-6k rpm jus like my oldie pulsar which makes it seem like it is not ready to rev beyond that point. like in an old bike u feel dat the bike is not comfortable to rev hard
