Yes...... Also front turn indicator also used as a DRL/Postion lamp in those model along with all headlight assembly lamp.

But I prefer that those reflector not present in Indian version. Maybe not so much safety issue for crowded country .

Yes, that is because it is mandated by the law there. Similar to how saree guard and front number plate is to our country.

Thanks guys will get it replaced.

I read everywhere that Idling cannot be adjusted.. but there is a screw that stops throttle from completely closing. in case v adjust that and let throttle close a bit more that wont the idling be lessened too : o

              You are welcome buddy...

Same kind of treatment from my ASC, but there was no spare starter kit and stuff. The mech came to my place and was able to push-start after some attempts.

In the ASC, he diagnosed it to be a battery failure and my baby was sitting in the ASC for 2 weeks and no sign of a replacement. But they had ordered 2 new batteries for 'Just-in-case' and were kind enough to provide one of those to me.

Got a call from ASC 3 days back that the actual replacement for my battery has arrived, will be exchanging it somewhere next week

Regarding the 200 bucks, I was charged none...

My household own's an MPFI car and what I've noticed in that is that, even if we try raising the idle by increasing the cables tension, the idle will be bumped for a while, but after the computer starts to notice it, it will automatically lower the idle, irrespective of the tention on the cable.

So I believe its best you guys do some more research on the same. Ride safe.

Nothing to spoil; worst case the vehicle will be immobilized; I'll call up ASC & ride to office in Rx, that's all. Anyway, I'll confirm this by 02/03-May or someone can confirm before that.

Nice find Samarth; even the ASC fellows kept saying idling can't be adjusted.

May b it was not meant to b done. As ashwinprakash above said ECU may revert back stock idling. But in case of r15 v could adjust idling manually. So can't b sure on either until v try it out.

                            • I found this online in cbr250r org
" 1450 rpm +/- 100 ish. You shouldn't adjust it though. If you play with the cable to make it go quicker you will increase idle, but you will burn out some other electrical component. I remember this was an issue on the 125's. They are electronically controlled. If you are having issues with it, take it back to the dealer or risk doing it yourself and pooching your injection system. As per the 125 service manual, it warns against adjusting the white painted screw (Idle). Failure to heed the warning may result in throttle valve and idle control damage " I am thinking whether its better to delete d post.

I may be out of my league here, but just sharing this info.

The thing is that for the time being in my car I get a bump in idle and even though after a while it settles down automatically, the accelerator behaves different from stock, theres a change in per gear roll on as well, and the ECU cuts off earlier than its supposed to, and to bring everything back to normal, we'd have to set the cable tention to near default and then reset the ECU to get things back to normal, in cars its done by disconnecting the battery for a night.

So in your case the worst case scenereo could be that you'll have to reset the ECU. But still, better safe than sorry.
