hello guys I am Indonesian you cbr riders should be proud cuz cbr already beat ninja 250 in the first series of Indonesia national championship, not only one cbr but dominate 1st and 2nd cbr and ninja in the 3rd place

Got it done at a sticker shop,opposite to BP petrol bunk on Thippasandra main road(its in one of the lanes there).Its costed about Rs100/-.You can get it done at any sticker shop which is near your place.Its better to remove the part you want to get sticker-ed for better finish.Dont remove parts which are too complicated to fix back though.

Also I saw parts with carbon fiber finish(not sticker-ed)for the CBR being sold at the Haiku Honda service center.Dont think it was actual carbon fiber but is a better option than stickering.

Thanks rachit ,i have checked with other 3 dealers they say bike is not in stock currently and even they dont know when it will be made avaialble by honda still i will check with sai point thane lets see.

Query regarding the handling before the first service!!

Finally after 330 KM on the odo i had another line drop on the fuel gauge and had 2 dots left. Thought of refueling before another ride in the morning. The bike had used 8L of premium fuel for the 330 kms. Hence according to me the bike certainly is giving me an average of about 40 which is awesome for a 250 cc bike . Would need to see the actual figures once the second service is completed and i get onto the normal riding mode

Anyone facing any battery issue about starting the bike ?

Past two weeks from 7th April I drove my CBR around 550+ KMs in all daylight.Last I drove the bike Sat 21th around 85+ KMs and that too in the daylight...no use of any HeadLight. (Practically almost never rode the bike in the dark i,e Headlight ON)

Today when I try to start the bike in the afternoon everything goes usual,but once I push the start switch the whole system going to restart again... sometimes RPM needle stuck in different position,which I never experienced like before (expl: stuck over the LCD display) .No matter how many times I tried the same sequence repeated itself. During this no other H/L or postion lamp is on...nothing.

And there is humming sound (which is very week)coming from the engine area after pushing the starter switch.

My bike is stock condition and there is no electrical or physical mod done till date.

I suspect the battery failure,

Is it possible just out of the blue this exide BS can't hold the enough charge to start the engine ?

PS:- Ownership 8 month ( - 56days stays in SVC for tyre replacement), ODO = 4698Km.

Hey guys, I had recently got a CBR250R Tri-color and on the 20th of April I gave the bike for its 1st service at MPL Honda (Chennai). When the bike went for a water wash the paint on the exhaust protector peeled off in 2 different areas (as seen in the pic.). I intimated this problem to the service manager immediately.
After a long talk on how it happened, he offered to paint it and give the part, he assured that it would have the same finish as a new one. Painting was the option as he told me that they didn't have stock of the protector. The wait then began and on the 22nd of April I got a call saying that it was ready. With high expectations I went to the dealer only to see that the protector had been ruined! There were minor dents and the paint job itself looked like they used a spray can to paint it! I was very angry and very disappointed. I shouted at the service manager and then came to a conclusion of replacing the part with a new one. He also told me that the new part would take up to 15days. He then told me that he would call the next day to tell me on status.
I waited the whole of the 23rd of April for his call but it never rang. I then gave a complaint to Honda through e-mail about the whole situation on the night of the 23rd of April and guess what, the dealer called me at 8:00AM the very next day saying that they were sorry and that they would replace the part immediately!! Since I was busy I told them that I cannot come to the service center.
At around 5:00PM they (dealer) called and told me that they would send their mechanics to my residence to replace it and so it happened, the mechanics were there by 4:45PM and installed a brand new exhaust protector!
NOW THAT'S THE POWER OF A CUSTOMER COMPLAINT
