This is the only thread that is exclusive in the entire forum, where you can post anything & everything about & outside CBR 250R (sometimes even your personal life ) Nothing is considered OT in this thread; you'll figure it out as you get along

That is correct! Also if you happen to start the bike and in it's in gear and then you try to kick the stand down... the bike engine cut's off. It's a safety measure. Another cool thing is if you forget that you are in gear and try to start the bike it wont. This is for the Ninja. Not too sure of the ceeber!

Err..... it doesnt start even if the clutch is pulled in, when not in neutral?

been following this thread since page 1 and ironically you are the guy who should be credited with maximum number of meaningless posts on this forum.

ps- plz use this thread to share technical info and not just add pages of personal advice,it becomes really difficult to search through any vital info provided in the previous pages.

The bike can start, be put into gear and even move forward with the side stand out, it does start in gear with the clutch lever pulled in. This is the Indian version.

Its the same for CBR, no different than Kwacker

Didnt know this was such a big feature. Even my ZMA has this, and I bet so does every other modern Indian bike with a self starter.

                              • Hi Guys,

I am planning to get a CBR250. Had a couple of querries. I have gone through 100 pages on the thread but no mention of these issues.

                                1. Is there a centerstand available for the bike as it was with R15( I am not talking about the paddock)
                                2. What is the precaution to be taken in case the bike falls. I mean to ask are there crash guards available for CBR. (The reason I am asking this is I have a ZMA and had to spend a lot to get the H/L assembly changed after a fall. To avoid the same, I fixed a leg guard from Stunner).
