not to show off but to protect my bike's part.
but 11550Rs for frame sliders i guess is over priced. that is the confusion. I went to KRP.I have never bought product like this so dont have idea about the cost. am feeling 6300rs is too much for the seat cowl. 3K would be fine. for tank pad i asked 650rs for the smallest size.

Protection??? Lol!!! What protection you want?

Are you scared of broken fairings? When you can replace the entire fairings for less than Rs 2000 inclusive of tax & labour (both sides) why do you need a frame slider for Rs 11K unless you're determined to break them 5 times

or u wouldn't want to replace the sliders for 11.5k in case of the accident now would you?!

I will have to change frame sliders if will crash in speed. Bt if bike will fall because of someone from stand still position(as it was about to happen last week) or in low speed then i will have to change body Parts worth of 2K (as you said).the only confusion is the quotation as i never bought these accessories

Hmm genuine Honda Seat cowls? Theyre selling it already?
A few weeks ago my ASC rep told me that they have only chrome silencer covers and something about the side body panels(coloured?)

11.5k is high for frame sliders..k.after market ones cost 6000inr or something.the cost and suppliers have been posted in this thread already.most are Thailand ones and few u.s:: .plus I'm sure u Googled that already.IMO would be better to buy along with other owners for lower rates.read in this thread long time back of some shop that imports them accessories in mumbai?(not the performance race store)

Horrible!!!

This is my last say on this & expect no more as you continue to give me an impression as...spoiled child!!!

Your bike is not going to fall everyday, every hour & every minute!!! If you think so, then don't put your bike to such places as prevention is better than cure. If you'd a bike like N250R, GT650 leagues, then, its worth spending on those sliders as the cost of the parts are expensive to replace with every fall, which is expense on prevention.

BTW, I assume you've excellent riding gears worth atleast 20-25K, after which you're considering for such unwanted spending.

@speedyking please consider the riding gear advice.our body parts are not exactly replaceable like the bike's fairings.u could get a proper full bike gear/jacket and all for the money ur spending.myself was going to book cbr but have kept it on wait. .for either the 2012 tricolor combo or the duke.naah. I'm just hoping the tricolor comes by march-April.

I have waited 6 months for this bike after the booking my loan got rejected twice so did overtime and worked hard to save some money to get this bike (and din wanted money from dad ....but in last he gave some) after making many efforts i got this bike.....thats why i am paying much attention on this bike.

if a spolied child is like me then yes i am spoiled child!!! and i am happy to be a spoiled child!!!

you are right in some part of it so have left a thought of sliders.

@senotriusThanks for the suggestion...Yes you are right we should pay attention on our saftey first. and that why bought Studd helmet,Jacket and probiker gloves on very next day after getting the bike.

hey folks.......ppl let not waist time bickering on matters tht concern personal choices ........be it buying stuff etc.......to each CBR r owner here ,whn it comes to their bike we all are sensitive, picky, etc!!!........and guys we are a ownership thread!!!........

Then, why's personal choice put up in public forum? Its only an express of opinion; IMHO, spending 11.5K on riding gears or probably a performance boost of CBR 250R is fine, not for a frame slider costing 11.5K to protect parts worth of 2-3K!!! To each his own opinion!!!
