2. If the bike falls at standstill, not much is damaged. Frame sliders are available, but pretty expensive at the moment. Some people have managed to get crashguards on. (below pics from malaysian police cbr 250)

Yes, only way is to have a paddock stand. There is no place to fix a centre stand.Originally posted by Sid85 View PostSo the only way to make it stand upright is the paddock. How would one cost ?
The cost of it may range from 1k to 10k depending upon where you buy and which brand you choose.Sudeep P Nambiar

1. No center stand available as mentioned by others.Originally posted by Sid85 View PostHi Guys,
I am planning to get a CBR250. Had a couple of querries. I have gone through 100 pages on the thread but no mention of these issues.
1. Is there a centerstand available for the bike as it was with R15( I am not talking about the paddock)
2. What is the precaution to be taken in case the bike falls. I mean to ask are there crash guards available for CBR. (The reason I am asking this is I have a ZMA and had to spend a lot to get the H/L assembly changed after a fall. To avoid the same, I fixed a leg guard from Stunner).
2. Bike would look like crap with a crash guard (as seen in pics linked in posts above) Frame sliders maybe available but see if they cost more than the fairing itself...!!
You may want to look into KTM Duke if these are very important criteria.

Hi I am a prospective buyer of CBR 250 w/o ABS. I would like some real world advice.
Q1. There are a lot of second hand CBRs available @ 1.20-25 lakh.
a. Should I go for a 2nd hand at this price. Another thing I live in CHANDIGARH so bike is 1.49 on roads.
b. There was a lot of complaints regarding the quality of the initial batch. Has the quality really improved. Is it advisable to get stick with new one ?
Q2. If I get a new CBR, I would really like to have it in HRC colours. In the auto expo they said that it would come. Any news about it ?
Please try to be sure before replying. I don't want any ones speculation, just authentic stuff.
