    • Thanks a lot Arjun Bhai, for giving me the Email ID's

Well Honda response in 5 days I mail them on 11th and got call on 13th from Pune HMSI that they will deliver the spare on Monday, Today morning 9:00am sharp got call from ASC that spare is reached and you can collect, I told that today it is not possible so will come tomorrow so they told that a person will pick bike from my home and after changing the set they will send the bike back to home, and finally they change the Chain set...

Now I can say Honda take fast action.
No road is enough... No destination I search...

      • @chicmagnet and xxbomb: yes, its dunlop tuff grip 140/70-17. Cant comment on it so soon as just fitted it yesterday. I wish i could replace it with pirelli.. But this seems VFM.

i dint understand what it meant by "the tire opened up". ? Currently, the suspension is so hard that i feel every small diference in road and the bike literally throws me off on bumpy roads. The tire pressure was checked just 3-4days ago. Dont have enough time to run behind the ASC jokers to get it fixed. Even the pune regional office isnt answering calls.
You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

          Appreciate the effort
I continued my hunt around the city today and nobody has them screws. Their reason was "We dont sell them because they arent much in demand and there is no point selling one or two a year and that not many vehicles use them these days "

About the suspension. You can adjust it at home' there is a special tool provided with the kit.

Whatever level the damper is set at currently, reduce the preload first by one. Ride around and see if it helps else reduce it further by one. The damper has a total of 5 preload settings so you cannot go beyond that limit. In case you have problems adjusting, call me at (^@$#$((^$ Pune. DON'T keep the rear preload high if you want to avoid bent rims

Another snippet. The CBR is VERY sensitive to tyre pressure; even 2 or 3 psi less makes the front a little heavy. So 2-3 psi in the rear too makes it skittish.

Agree with this. 3 psi less made my top end 135kmph, from the 151 kmph I attained at correct psi

                • Hi, just a little question, i wanted to replace the stock horn on cbr. Nothing too loud just something that can be heard. Because quite frankly the ones that are currently on are just embarrassing. Any good brand or any other detail will be welcome.

                  thanks.

                  • Having waited and observed the mockery by Honda, I have finally decided to get rid of this so called quality driven bike.

                    Interested buyers may pop-in.

You can plonk in any aftermarket horns that fit the specified rating. Hella, Roots, Bosch, etc. make some really nice horns. You can opt for a single one (high tone or low tone) without the need for a relay or opt for a dual tone (High+Low like in the pulsar's) but you have to plug in a relay for this.

You might want to consider Stebel horns but be aware that there are plenty of these fakes in the market. Always go to the official company website and approach the authorized dealers for products.

Not too loud... Not too soft... Then Bosch is the way for you my friend. I normally recommend Roots, but frankly they're too loud for their own good and hence you might find them irritating.

                            • Got my CBR 250R back from the showroom after change of block kit. Was charged for only engine oil and filter. The replacement kit was also changed.

Just a question, now that you have said your bike is problematic and after cursing it, how can you expect buyers to buy a troublesome bike?

Isnt that just like dropping a hammer on ur own foot?

                                On another note:
I went to the ASC today to ask for the depth of the screw i needed to find. One guy said 1 1/2" and 2 mins later another guy noticed that i have been running back and forth to their place all this while for the last 4 weeks so they told me that they can do something about the screws and they took my bike for 10mins.
Then they hand it over to me with the mirror fixed with another screw which doesnt seem to be the same size as the stock screws but they said its temporary so i can use my RVM till the ordered screws arrive.

Only thing to take care of now is the scratches which i will get it repainted once the original screws arrive.

However DK do post ur method so that someday if i or anyone has to go through the same, we dont have to ask all over again

wondering why they couldnt do the same when i gave it for servicing four days ago
