that's what im feeling at this moment
Went to SVC two days ago to just lube the chain as it was dry after 600k on the odo.
Bike was flashy clean before i handed it over to them and waited for 10mins in their lobby

Got the bike back in such a condition that posting a pic of my rear alloys would be too graphic to watch
it seems like they sprayed the lube from a distance as my whole rear wheel is now covered with the dark greesy oil which im gonna have a hard time trying to clean tmrw.

Bike is buttersmooth though. No rust found yet and its been about 20 days now since i have had her. Never revved past 5k till now. Occasional sprints to 80kmph while shifting at 5k.
Should i now look forward to revv it through higher rpms in all gears or should i wait for the first service?
    Need advice.

So far so good im still a happy man except when that crow had to shit on my babe the other day and i got super pissed

Seen a couple of CBR's in the city. Anyone here want to catchup please lemme know.
    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

This happens to me when I ride the bike immediately after the chain is lubed and all the excess is thrown on to the rear alloys! Aargh! Yes, the grease is a pain to clean!

      • ^^ leave the bike untouched for couple of hours after lubing it. Most of the lube then sticks to the chain instead of jumping on the rims. Use diluted diesel to clean the excess of the rims, it'll come off without any effort.

In my place there is no PSDs and anything to source outside from WB is complete PIA due to Road Challan.
Anyway Isn't PSDs are soft compound which more prone to cuts and bruises ?

No significant air lose till now, Guess I went thorough Bridge/Flyover metal joint (Park Circus Flyover) or those Yellow rectangular stuff those divide road in 2 lane (Lock Gate Road Flyover)......else there is no off road or anything.
And me too experienced Tyre sound in silent/calm area like some vehicle just behind me. Is it normal ?

when for the first time i filled speed(91 octane)in my baby ceeber on the day of purchase i think she was over excited...thats why for first full tank she gave me avg. of about 42.75kmpl... but now when her first service is done at 586kms and now i have started to rev her high till 7500-8000rpm..to open up the throttle and engine..shifting gears at 6500-7500rpm....after all this happy revving she today gulped 10.95 litres of speed for just 328kms....this comes out to be around 30kmpl....i think now my baby ceeber has regained her senses and is now back to earth... anyways the method which i am following for opening up throttle and engine is correct or not???...kindly tell me...

Please read the engine oil gauge with the bike upright, not on it's side stand and voila!! You'll be able to see the reading. Have fun!

P.S. If you are still unable to see it, which is very unlikely, then please stop riding and head to your ASC.
@ Dreamseller - Thank you..a friend told me to keep the engine on for about a minute and then post turning it off keep the bike straight and check for oil, to my relief there was some of it..did manage only 100 kms as i dont have my registration done yet..when do u suggest the first oil and oil filter change? have read that a lotta guys get it done near the 200-300 mark (oil n oil filter change)..is it ok if i just get the oil changed at say arnd 250 km mark and the oil n the oil filter in the first servicing?

guys .. i don;t understand why u ppl so much worried abt rust part... don;t worry it will in in all bikes .. and small rust won;t spoil ur bike .
and a small rust doesn't mean ur bike is of inferior quality...

even my r15 shown rust spots near front mask joint .. and now its almost over 3.5yrs no problem wt so ever...

in case if u find any small rust spots .. just spray paint on it .. after all its just a metal ..which has property being rust if it exposed to air+water

crow are the real stupid birds .. spots created by them won;t go easily

                        Hi Neel,

I too have a very shallow cut in my rear tyre.
I got it when three weeks back i went for a ride in mountains (the roads were full of gravel). I feel that when the tyres are warm they are more prone to cuts and bruises because otherwise the tyres are pretty sturdy on bad roads.
Till now no issues with the tyre during highspeed riding yesterday only touched 157 with a saddle bag. Although at times i feel as if the wobbles a little when leaning on non tarmac surfarce (like RCC/ cement roads).
Anyways i am thinking of getting these changed so ripping these tyres as much as possible (including frequent burn outs ).

                        Ride safe.

                        Regards

Yours seems to be a little too much.
You should talk to your ASC and bug them.
They will do somethign about it.
We can get the powder coating done but it is a pain as it would require opening the bike. So best solution is talk to your ASC and ask them to send this pic to Honda and request them to provide a resolution.

I wasnt worried. I was just letting people know that the current lot bikes dont suffer from any of the problems the initial lot bikes had
But then again i havent taken her out during rain. so she has yet to be tested on that front.
