Saar...whatever it is, things like rusting etc are prone to climatic condition. If it were larger parts such as fuel tank etc in a short span of time, then its acceptable. Remember, Honda is offering just VFM products unlike life style products like HD or BMW. So if theyr'e able to save even 5 paise per part (be it engine to tail lamp) they'll do it.Originally posted by Nithesh View PostSkill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

1. The bike is worth the moolah you're spending, ABS is also worth going for, it'll definitely save you in times when immediate braking is required.Originally posted by ArriveAlone View Post2. I go for Non ABS version or C-ABS version ? [ Anyways i can offer both , i go by Finance ]
3. Is it Worth the money which we spend ?
4. Do this bike withstands for at least ' 2 ' years ? [ If i Maintain Properly ? ]
5. Honda Engine is Good ?
6. Will there be any rattling or Vibrations from the plastic parts , Engine ? [ If i maintain 5k rpm - 6k rpm / Or if i do speeds over 100 km/hr ? ]
7. Do this bike can do 100 km/hr speed without any struggling on Doubles ? [ If the rider and Pillion weighs about 160 Kg ? ]
8. Handling part is good on straight path and as well as on corners ?
9. I hope there would be no Problem with the ABS , if i brake on Wet roads ?
10.
If i maintain 5k RPM on CBR 250 R till 1st service is done and then 6k rpm till Second & Third service is done & [ If I don't Do rash drivings as well as give sudden throttle ] and maintain Minimum 50 km/hr till 1st service done and 60 km/r -100 km/hr till 3rd service is done = is there any Assurance that This monster delivers me a minimum mileage of 30 km/liter inside chennai city ? If it 100 % Delivers means i will be going for this monster !!
' Peace "
2. The bike's engine is a beast and I don't see why the bike wouldn't withstand for 2 years.
3. Ofcourse you can expect some vibrations from the bike, but even with those vibes, the bike handles rock solid.
4. 100kmph is not a problem for the CBR.
The handling is rock solid like I said before!
5. ABS works well on wet roads.
6. The manual does not specify to maintain any RPMs/speed till 1st service. It only says to avoid redlining and sudden acceleration. As CBR has a fuel injection system, the fuel efficency will not deviate much. The CBR will not disappoint you.
I suggest you to research some more before asking such questions. This thread is filled with them.

Nothing wrong in asking a question as long as it's not answered in the last 10-15 pages. No one has the patience to read through every page as there's loads of unnecessary junk and argument filled in. Not to forget the cribbing part!! :P
About the bike,
With 6 months of ownership, I can surely say that this bike can last for years. Handling is great (dry) ABS works amazingly well. Go for it.M800 - 2001 - 5787.Nano 2011 - 5086.Figo 2011 - 518.P220 - 2010 - 5995.CBR 250R - 2011 - 250.sigpic

i sold my r15 before buying cbr 250 r and i also have many doubt as u have but finally after r15 and karizma r i dont have any other option left in 250 cc. (ninja was no in my list)
so choosed cbr and its worth for me and my riding is totaly opposite from yours.
just sat on it and vroommm.
and 100 kmph is nothing for cbr wid pillion u can easily cruise on highway at 125kmph to 135 kmph.
and wid your riding style u can easily get 35kmpl avg from cbr. am getting 27 to 29 kmpl in delhi bumper to bumper traffic.
no issue faced till now in my bike
