Thank for the reply & yes I also go to venetian. I've already tipped the mech there quite well (Rs.300/-) to take care of my bike. But after knowing about the wrong billing I feel I shoundn't have.

Also since youare getting the bike serviced from there then, even you would be using the same mineral oil. Right?

Have they charged you Rs.150/- to Rs.250/- additionally?

They have already implemented at few service stations & rolling out all over India.

Since you are in borivli , thane vihaan honda is the best option to go for.

I dont think so. Infact its a bit opposite. They take usually longer time than others, as there are many CBR's coming there and only one mechanic. But they never rush to finish their job. The take all the time it requires and inform you so. Atleast i felt so.. And the CBR bay there is top notch. Everything well managed inside.

Guys, i too am facing the rattling at 4.5krpm

Hope its not a serious issue.

if anybody is visiting vihaan anytime soon, please do pm me. I had done the 2nd service from vihaan a month ago. And i feel vibrations and engine noise. Would be helpful if we can compare the bikes and have a disscussion.

unless I read your post here. Because it is a normal practice which I have been following for several years now. Everytime I give my car or bike for service anywhere I make it a point to see, follow and learn whatever the mechanics are doing. I never asked anyone and neither did anyone bother or question my presence next to my vehicle all the time. This is the case in Lucknow. I cannot comment on other cities.

Sorry for re-posting this but any help would be welcome..

"Please excuse me if i am posting in the wrong thread, just wanted to know how can i install the handle bar grip on my CBR (ariete/harris CBR red-black scheme) and a matchin tank-pad. Any assistance would be welcome, also, if you guys could let me know if it is advisable to change the handle bar grips in a new bike? any precautions i need to take? do i need to cut out the stock grips? is this a do-it-yourself thing @ home or i need to see a mechanic for that. Thanks in anticipations. Cheers"

What i saw was that they had a whole lot of the 20w50 or 20w40 engine oil. I think that is what they might have used. Guy named Yogesh is the one who checks on the CBRs. Ive been charged 173 x 2= 346rs for the oil. Arent we supposed to get the remaining oil back? as 1.5L of oil is used and 0.5L is remaining. They dont allow us to see our bike getting serviced.

. How many services have you completed? Ive got my 1st service done. We can meet up sometime to discuss few things about the bike if you want.
following is the whole list of what all Ive been charged-
oil filter- 231rs
engine oil- 173x2 = 346
vat% -72 :|
coolent-100
chain greasing- 350
service tax - 61
TOTAL - 1311rs

Where exactly is Vihaan honda in thane? and do we have to keep our bike there or can we wait there itself while the servicing gets done. because i dont trust anyone at the service centers and Ive seen the way they treat bikes kept there for sometime.

True, Coolant is like only 25 rs and lubing is like some 100 rs or sometimes even free ? Well that's what happened to me @ Didar.

going for a second free service done 3.5 k in 6 months ..

i dont have any issue but havent lubed my chain from last 2.5 k km

so hearing that chik chik sound from long time and will get relife from that chik sound 2marrow.
