I didn't pay anything like that.. got replaced the same at after 4.5k.. paid Rs.165 as fitting charges..

You had an issue with the tyre? ya that's what I told 165Rs deduction is for the wear of the tyre. Mine is 7K+ so they charged me 750Rs including fitting

Yeah I had burst like cracks in the rear tyre at 3 places. No it was not the depreciation, the tyre dealer did not charge anything. They just took the old tyre and gave a new one. This 165Rs was charged by ASC as fitting and labour charges..

oh ok but mine was 700Rs for the tyre and 50Rs fitting charge

By the way, just had a talk with the HMSI engineer. There supposedly is some camp that is scheduled for mid-december in Kolkata. You are supposed to get your formal invite from your dealership. So do make sure you get your invite for the same.

Hi guys

Yesterday early morning I had been to a small ride of around 200kms.

Boy !! I must say this bike loves being on the highways. The way she rev's makes you go crazy. Tried touching 125kmph once, but couldn't dare crossing it. The bike is rock stable at these speeds. Contrary to speculations, the tyres were holding on to the road quite well. And yes the icing on the cake

... when revved hard, the exhaust note is a music to your ears.

I'm happy the with everything that the bike is coming up with. I'm loving it.

P.S. But I would agree with aargee regarding the brakes. The brakes don't give you the feeling that they should. You don't feel confident.

Chain Cleaning

Hello friends..
Riding after 500kms in dust n sands of rajasthan chain got dirty n was making noise so got cleaner spary WD40 400ml in RS.229 and cleaned the chain.. According to service manual chan can be lubricated by EP90 gear oil so applied drops on chain.. N wow its butter smooth

I changed my pads to HH rated race spec pads from Galfer racing. They supply pads for motorsports. One of the company which is deals with is kawasaki.

One odd cases might face an issue and it is common with any bike. Even few ninjas had issues during the starting days so not much to worry about. We feel many bikes are facing problems because the thread is full of negatives being faced by people and no good. there are many happy owners who aren't posting anything about it. I personally feel that's the issue here.

Guys need to change Chain and rear brake pads (ABS), can you guys suggest stock one is good or i search for other brands, and any web site to order one, as Honda spare is nowhere available in gujarat, search through posts but didn't find any please suggest, as due to loss chain i'm not able to ride my bike, well brake pad can work for next 100 or 1500kms so chain is my first concern.

Good to hear that, do you have any idea if it is organised by HMSI and will there be any HMSI officials present. Because I asked about the camp several times and also gave them update about the camps organised in south, the last time I asked them about this, I got a reply from my dealer that the Dealers in and around Kolkata are planning for a meet of CBR owners. Not sure if it is that.

Rear Brake Lever

@ aargee
@ Fastest Indian

I want to adjust rear brake leaver bit downwards.. Its parellel to footrest so when I ride its always bit pressed and I always doubt that bit brakes always applied unknowingly.. So guys plz tell me if its possible..
Adjustment in gearleaver done tho
