    No probl;em with the bike at all. Just that the chain is very loose now. No other issues or concerns at all. Mine was from the first lot. Done 10k kms on it till date and never did I face an issue with the bike. Runs butter smooth.

    I was getting an AVG of 31.6 kmpl though I was redlining the bike. Was doing speeds between 110-140 and did 150 some times..

    ABS works like a charm undoubtedly, It became better after I changed my brake pads to "HH" rated pads. Worth every penny. The entire bike is worth it.
    Hearty congratulations bro Proud of you bwoy

    Now can you please give me a count of all the dead insects on your ride and you

    I have had the bike for 2.5k kms now and no issues faced yet, touch wood...

    Looks like we guys in Hyderabad are luck when it comes to cbr

        I think a desi radiator guard design should do the trick --

        As of now am not paying a single rupee as long as honda is accepting that it's a design flaw.
        I had raised this issue when the Honda peeps had come, they 'assured' me the fan jamming would not happen! Didn't wanna take the risk, so stuck an ugly looking plastic sheet which prevented the mud from being splashed on the radiator! Took it off now but I think I will put it back again since your post has scared the shit out of me!

        @thefastestindian: Congratulations dude! Awaiting details

            Nope, brake pads have ratings.. like g, h, hh etc. HH rated pads are usually prefered by track riders (read sharp brakes without fading even at high temps).

            Surprisingly, No speedo error at all. The ninja which was my company in my ride showed 50kms more than mine.

                    • Due to the unacceptable waiting period of R15 (7 months to be specific) I am now more inclined towards CBR 250R.

                      However, heard a lot of negative things like engine seize, poor finish of paint and plastic parts and unavailability of spare parts. I'd request the CBR 250R owners to please throw some lights on it. Any suggestion would be helpfull.

                        I think buying CBR due to waiting period on R15 is a blessing in disguise I have been using a CBR for over a month now and have done close to 2000kms, i have been extremely impressed by the way it handles, smooth as silk.. If there's one thing honda is known for is "quality" i don't think that should be your concern..as for spare parts that is a worry, the bike is relatively new and the parts will take time to hit the market, maybe a year but fingers crossed we might no require it in the near future..

                        • Could somebody post the speeds for each gear at 8k rpm. Bike's gonna head back to the ASC to find the cause of vibration. Ive been asked to come at 2:15.
                          Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
