i also faced the similar problem bro...went to the ASC the mechanic did something with the handle bar mount and gresaed it and now its light and fine..honda does not do pdi when they roll out the bikes from the factory...the mechanic told me that in one cbr the brake oil and engine oil was at the minimum level and the headlight bulb was missing when the bike came to the showroomOriginally posted by harsh_66328 View Post*Jealous*....

Well If you are comfortable with the riding position of the bike, then why not? It takes time getting used to, especially in the stop & go traffic. Apart from that possibly if you have a good Secured parking space wherever you take your bike then definately you can.Originally posted by me is rossi View Post

The best(worst) part was when i left the showroom and just about 200 mtrs away the fuel got over and i was like wtf. They got a serious huge thrashing from my dad. Then they come on a twister and fill about 1L of petrol.Originally posted by MD24 View PostComment

Jetblack, are you talking about a local dealer(broker) here? (if borivali, then i guess the one next to korakendra flyover?? He's the biggest) If yes, please do confirm about the warranty. Consult an ASC and ask them if everything is fine. I had seen a bike which was bought from a broker (ABS for Rs.2.4lakhs) in the early days and had lot of problems. The ASC manager told me that some parts of the bike had been replaced or played with. Plus he told me that Honda does not provide warranty for any honda vehicle bought from other than honda showroom. Some money saved may cost much later. I dont mean to scare you or anything but thats what i saw and had told the same to everyone in the CBR launch thread too.Originally posted by jetblack View Post

When i took the bike the last line of fuel was already blinking. I asked the dealer about it and he told me that he had just filled 1L of fuel. He was reluctant to fill it up a bit more. Checked everything. and after leaving the showroom, just few meters away the bike started lugging. I thought it might be because of low rpm on a higher gear or so. (was driving the bike 1st time). If this was happening on my previous bike i would have known that the fuel is over. And after some time the bike stalled. I took it to the side and cranked it up, it started but then stalled again. Behaved like a normal carb bike when fuel gets over. I dont think if anything got damaged(fuel injector), i hope so.Originally posted by MeTaL_MaNiaC View Post

I've got my CBR in last august. Till now aorund 2800 kms done. Recently I've done a Mangalore-Kottayam-Mangalore which covered around 1000 kms. After this ride, i'm getting a strange rattling sound post 6k rpm.
Any idea how this can happen??
