I had this exact doubt a week back (before planning on replacing the tyres at the day of delivery) & googled a lot. The front has the same pattern as well.

Another variant available at the launch is this Michelin Pilot Street Radial. As the name suggests, this Pilot Street Radial is made with radial-ply type compared to the Pilot Street that is made u…

P.S : I've installed the tyres yesterday itself.

Great, please share the reviews about the grip both wet and dry. I have to change the tyres asap. And I am planning either IRC or Michelin.

Don't go for IRC tires, though its super sticky initially, but looses grip after 7-8K kms only, and start skidding. Doesn't justify its cost. Go for micheline instead. Costly, but durable. MRF is vfm, but again needs changing every 10K kms(lasts longer than IRC)

Hello cbr owners. I need some suggestions. Earlier I was planning to buy ninja 300 but got a sweet deal from my dad that I can buy both a car and a cheaper bike insted of ninja. So I want to know is cbr a worthy buy? I currently own a P220 so what are the major changes?? Any other suggestions for which bike to buy?

abhi19. The CBR is an excellent bike, probably the best in ITS class AND price, globally. And hats off your your father for this most pragmatic offer. Salute!

The biggest difference over a P220 would be the riding posture - much more forward leaning. Some discomfort in the early stages is natural but once you get the hang of the bike, you will be able to ride non-stop for at least 2 hours before a break. The bike has a very good FE for its high revving engine and is generally trouble-free. Spares and consumables are reasonably priced and the service centres are now geared up to handle the bike well. I dare-say that if you buy this, you would be getting the best single cylinder 250 cc sportsbike in the world. Refer to the reviews on major motorcycle fora like rideapart.com and motorcycle-usa for corroboration.

Heheh yeah the actual deal was the Ninja as a birthday gift. But we have a ford fiesta not in use so are planning to sell it of and buy a new one.plus I get a bike so it is a sweet deal . What I want to know is the difference in performance in both bikes

Power wise Ninja scores better any day with its twin cylinder. But do not compare these 2 bikes from diff segments. If you want top speed and better torque you will have to go for Ninja but for other things ie: Touring, FE CBR scores better than Ninja.

Do you people cover switches and instrumental panels during a bike wash ?. I'm a bit concert about this matter.

Not needed.
Generally any washing person won't keep water force on instruments or switches for more than a sec or won't even apply it there.
if he does then make sure he doesn't do it.

Mostly when bike is washed at SVC later they dry it with blower, which throws out any dew/water in the switches etc....

Don't worry mate!!

Congrats bro, I just love that color scheme.

I just wish they also brought in this color in 150R (though it might not happen), cos I don't want another 250

Yeah I do own a 250 but not the CBR. I have a Ninja 250, they didn't have this color when I bought my bike or else I might have thought twice

Just ride it normally, donot accelerate or deaccelarate suddenly, try to be as smooth as possible.Get the extended warranty, service it regularly @ the time period or kms.First 1000/1500 kms go long way in determining the life & behaviour of the M-cycle.
