Aaha!!! So...should C5 be banned then? There're lots of such incidents even at abroad (read developed countries) where big bikes slip over the regular tarmac due to oil spillages. So do they also don't deserve? Two wheeler are always risky & no wonder there's a thrill on riding two-wheeled machines.

I'm not Lord Rama so I don't have patience; In a little over 4 months of ownership, 1 week spent at ASC for engine replacement, 1 month at garage as I was away from country, 30 days of combined ride to office & RJ; a little over 40 days waiting for parts & the bike parked in my garage; a little over a week now spending at ASC again waiting for parts. I really don't have patience!!!

      • Who said I was advising btw ? Btw, Sh*^ do happen, But I find no point in complaining! Most of us here faced issues. Solving them and posting solutions here helps rather than quarreling about it and bringing more hate to Honda lol! Just my point!

I'm confused Are you saying, if HMSI doesn't send me the parts, should I keep quiet here or simply say that HMSI is sending them? When I went on trip, I DID post it here & when they're not responding, I said they aren't responding!!! What're the points you're seeing when I call a spade as a spade? And who quarelled here

Edit - Just had another thought; so are you saying, I should come here with all possible solutions for issues...but never say anything against HMSI ?

Now we're going complete OT!!! So does that mean HD shouldn't be banned? Ok, then let me ask another question...

Our friend had a 10 sec drama, so does that mean 250cc sportsbike are to be banned?

Again, why 500, why not 400, why not 600, why not 250 or even 150?

              • Relax guys.. it's not about what type of a bike/car is good for India..in this situation, I believe, it's about the technology and I guess we are overlooking it. That guy Pravu got saved by that small wonderful thing attached to his brakes called ABS and this is what we should be discussing here, the merits of ABS. This incident has shown the importance of ABS. I mean, how many people out there can use the brakes effectively especially in tricky situations? ABS, if it's not there, fine..but if it's there, then it's for better! Doesn't really matter what CC our bikes have

Honda made a bad availability of spares which propelled me to glue on my bike. This reason is apparently more funny.

Yes man, I am safe with a minor scratch on leg. Having fallen more cheaply to the dirty acts of sand on my R15 on a num of occasions, am sure this time ABS did the whole trick. I forgot to take snap of that route and presence of sand today. Would share it tomorrow for sure. I was damn scared crossing that same road today and believe me I was amazingly slow and straight on my babe.

Your bike is way better than babes, only thing is that you need a proper vision to mull over this fact. :D

Read again the first post. I'm telling they deserve better roads to be ridden the way they're meant to be.

I got your point very well; but at the same time it also conveys that 500+ are not suited here & that's the reason I'm asking why not 200, 400 or 600? Why only 500?

PS - Should've posted earlier, but then...you didn't listen to me when I first asked you to put back your old avatar!!! You'd to be told twice is it ?

I like to evaluate how i can make the best use of my purchases. The 'upto 500' is just for drawing a line for that. Having said that, if you/anyone wants to get liter bikes..then pls go ahead, i'll congratulate you.

                            • ^eer...if you are talking about the wax products, you can just buff em with good cloth(preferably microfiber ones). Nothing to panic. Post some pics.

EDIT: if u're talking abt the black parts(plastic without paint), then you cant do much...you'll have to wait it out. I havent tried applying diesel/petrol to clean from those areas so wont advice that from my side.

If this is on the black panels then you can try to apply soap and use a microfibre cloth to remove the stain. It won't go completely but it will be reduced a tad bit.
Other than that, you just wait it out I guess!
