Honestly don't know, I had this same trouble with my Karizma Carb version in 2007. The battery died so I couldn't start the bike as I had removed the kick starter on my own.
Finally had to push start it and charge the battery that way
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Got my vehicle serviced on monday. The SVC guys said full synthetic was not advised to them by the so called HEAD OFFICE. He said it would void warranty or some crap like that. I heard honda is sellin a full synthetic oil isnt it?
Yes, good riddance of bad rubbish...

      1. The SVC guys are talking rubbish. I wonder if they know the difference between mineral, semi-synthetic and fully synthetic oils...

      2. You are abso right. The oil comes in a black plastic can and its name is "THROTTLE". It is 100% synthetic, 10W30 grade, is manufactured by Tide Water Oil Co and costs Rs 504/- for a 1 liter can. The part number is 08234-M99KK1LG3. Most competent Honda SVCs stock this part number.

My SVC chap recommended this to me on his own. And the can says"Honda - Conformable to Honda Requirements for Motorcycle Lubricants Since 2001"

You should take this up with your SVC, Jacob.

There is Direct Connection between FI ( Fuel Injection ) and battery .
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

          have a couple of questions..

1.is it alright if the paint comes off?

          2.what should be done now?
This is absolutely rubbish quality on a product as this and that too from Honda. Looks like quality is compromised left, right and center. Send these pics to the Honda top management and mark a copy to all the editors of top auto magazines. Bring this to light and make them answerable.

            1. When the bike starts u take off on the 1 gear itself when u shift to 2 gear at 30 or 35 even if u r at 1 or 2 there is a sound which stays till u speed up at 40 well something to understand.
            2. He told me if u r riding her at 70 km/hr. The handle vibrates.
man I said it might be he said no u test it well I took her for a spin and as we reached 70 he was sitting behind me he said leave the handle bar at that time the bike was straight no wobling feeling from the tires but to my surprise the handle was shiffering as if it has been kept in a ice cold factory man I immediately got hold of the handle bar again and I said have u shown it to the service station he said that bhaia I have launched a complaint and the enginers will come if they don't then I will go to consuram forum against honda. Well wow people take decision so soon as if the law is waiting for them.
Well there r so many casses pending I explained him that if u go to the court of law then no body is going to touch your bike until and unless the hornable court decides. It can even take 3-5 years and even if u win suppose and the court says to give the money to the party well for those years which u have lost the company will depreciate that period then give u the money.
Well god knows what he will do oh by the way he had a kawasaki ninja 250 also which he has sold for 2.7 lacks. When asked him to sell this bike and forget honda he says no body is buying honda cbr second hand. Lol man. I hope everything goes well with all the other friends out there on cbr. What has happened to honda it had such good products like unicorn, activa, shine man have the gone over with the 2 wheeler business or they have gone mad.

I am safe was planning to buy cbr but I will now stick on with 180 ug4 for a good long time. I am happy anyways guys I wish u all the best.

shocked to hear that..so many engine issues out there....

              • Any cbr ABS owner pls reply ...

Regarding ABS functiong, is it worth it..

I 've seen the videos, straight line - YES !

How about the curves, when leaning, ???
Does the ABS prevent understeer / oversteer ???

Eg: I slamm the front rake while taking a curve at 90--- Will I taste the tarmac / or is the ABS system in honda intelligent enough to reduce the brake force enough to maintain traction ??

There are no videos of leaning and braking in any video.

ABS is the only thing that insists me sticking on to this cbr. The best thing is that while braking, you can change your direction. Of course, for that you need to be very nimble. Think again before deciding on CBR. It has multiple issues like a pvt loan lender firm going spurious over its hidden costs. The engine is good but the service ( blame the Honda ppl and its unskilled engineers ) and lack of spare parts would soon make it a piece of junk.

Your bike is way better than babes, only thing is that you need a proper vision to mull over this fact. :D

Hey Neo i request You to go through [ http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/art-safe...0-braking.html ] this link before you make any decision about what type of bike you want to buy ( Abs or Std) . I know many people might want to Kill me for the Big Off Topic post but still the way Neo posted this( Bold Part) i thought its better to discuss the technique than Technology because in panic situations Its You and your reflexes gona save you from eating the tarmac and not the ABS/C-ABS Of Honda. And yes i give +1 for Abs bike any day than std model but thing again if you intend to use it without any knowledge of it . Again i apologies for my bad writing skill and if any one if offended .

Looks like I'm the only one who read your post with the email id of some HMSI guy. Dude it works man. I sent an email to him and he forwards it to 3 more people and one of the guy calls me thrice to check what my prob was. By the way he was talking, I felt like he's making a note of all my problems. Then when I asked him about spares, he said they'll be available by the end of november or early december. So people, ease out a bit and wait till the end of this month. If nothing happens, Then lets start flooding their inboxes with " professional " emails stating what probs we are facing right now.

                              Peace!
