If you ask me, you can run till 900-1000kms and then go for the service. The oil will last good till then

ABS? You bet it does, it just save me, actually an ass**** rather I jammed the brakes while i was way over 135kmph, the bike dropped to 70kmph in a jiffy and not even for a second i felt i was gonna have a crash or something

Performance parts?? Honda said so? Now that's news

              • CBR 250 Dead

Today in the morning while traveling to office my CBR shutdown abruptly Guess some electronic failure.

I have reported it to honda guys and still waiting for their call.

When I remove the fuel pump fuse all electronics work properly and when I fix it back again every thing goes haywire.

Did any one face such a problem??????

It had happened with me too. Kindly check & tighten the battery terminals. In my case the terminals were loose & hence the battery was not getting charged.

                    Hope this helps

exactly .. to the point .. in all FI bikes this was main problem .. if battery is dead .. then bike is dead.

check the terminal connections and also there should be rectifier [something like that] which is responsible for charging ur battery on the go.

Try replacing Fuse and then see if everything is working properly .
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

                        • engine Noise

                          Hi Guys ,

I am new to XBHP...I have a CBR250 ...wich is about 2 months old..and done about 1500km...Gone through with the first service..

Here is the problem...at low rpm...i get a very irritating noise coming from the front end of the bike(cant specify where exactly its from)...it sounds like metal rubbing against metal...and as the rpm reaches higher..the noise dissapears..anyone faced similar issue..or can tell me what could be the issue...

my friend is also having the same problem today I drove his bike and to my surprise I was shocked there were 2 things.
                            1. When the bike starts u take off on the 1 gear itself when u shift to 2 gear at 30 or 35 even if u r at 1 or 2 there is a sound which stays till u speed up at 40 well something to understand.
                            2. He told me if u r riding her at 70 km/hr. The handle vibrates.
man I said it might be he said no u test it well I took her for a spin and as we reached 70 he was sitting behind me he said leave the handle bar at that time the bike was straight no wobling feeling from the tires but to my surprise the handle was shiffering as if it has been kept in a ice cold factory man I immediately got hold of the handle bar again and I said have u shown it to the service station he said that bhaia I have launched a complaint and the enginers will come if they don't then I will go to consuram forum against honda. Well wow people take decision so soon as if the law is waiting for them.
Well there r so many casses pending I explained him that if u go to the court of law then no body is going to touch your bike until and unless the hornable court decides. It can even take 3-5 years and even if u win suppose and the court says to give the money to the party well for those years which u have lost the company will depreciate that period then give u the money.
Well god knows what he will do oh by the way he had a kawasaki ninja 250 also which he has sold for 2.7 lacks. When asked him to sell this bike and forget honda he says no body is buying honda cbr second hand. Lol man. I hope everything goes well with all the other friends out there on cbr. What has happened to honda it had such good products like unicorn, activa, shine man have the gone over with the 2 wheeler business or they have gone mad.

I am safe was planning to buy cbr but I will now stick on with 180 ug4 for a good long time. I am happy anyways guys I wish u all the best.

Any connection between FI and battery?
