I knew it!!! Reason being that, HMSI selects specific dealers within the city & I'm not sure if JSP is part of this. Let me find this tomorrow.

The first point I am not sure, because the kancheepuram cannot be termed within 'city' limits.

The second point, I can assure you it's not true, because I have shouted at not just the sales manager, reception lady, insurance guy but the Managing director himself, on different occasions multiple times, writing multiple complaint letters to Honda, still they invited me.

Well I had done this although a very crude one for my recent trip.
I had taken a thick plastic sheet(Used in spiral binding books etc) and stuck it
at the end of front mudguard with cellophane tape. It worked excellent and i didnt have a speck of mud on the radiator in my 4k journey. Though I agree it looked not so nice and the end of it was touching the exhaust pipe under hard breaking and a portion of it got burned also in the process but it was effective.
        (Sorry no photograph)

I am planning to make one with glass fibre soon, shall update.

        • In need of a right RVM

Is there anyone from Delhi who can help me procuring a right RVM( rear view mirror) for cbr250r? My younger bro is returning from Del this 4th, so he can bring the stuff with him.

          Thanks

Not all over tamilnadu for sure may be within chennai .. the reason said that he was told he is incharge of the cbr's meet ... not quite sure what he really meant and also I did not purchase the bike from this dealer ! but I got serviced from this particular dealer !

              @Bladeboy you got a call ?????????????

Some details about the meet in Bangalore:

It was supposedly from 10am to 6pm, I was there from 12 to about 330.

Missed the cheer girls, but from what I heard, they were kids and were probably paid in candies to be there.

Took part in one of the skill events, where you had to go around cones without putting your foot down in the fastest time. I managed a time of about 23 seconds, but some dude beat me with 18 seconds! I was told I had the 2nd best time. Dunno what the prize was though.

Most bikes were stock, some had a few mods but to my disappointment, no exhaust mods
Red CBRs were the maximum. Silver was the least.
However, there was one particular bike which was realllllly pathetic. We called it the Bling bike. I wish Honda would just take back the bike and ban the owner from ever purchasing one. It reminded me of how girls would dress up their kid cousins with frocks and lipstick. Pathetic.

There was one guy doing some stunts, at first with no gear on. I think someone forced him to put on a helmet. I felt it was a little amateurish, and risky cos he had no other gear on. I don't want put up a picture of that for fear that someone might consider it "cool".

Asked about which other places meets are planned, they said Chennai is on the cards, but not sure about other places.

Parts: Some parts have arrived. Carbon fiber lookalike parts for all the light silver parts(it's the color common to all the 3 bike versions) are there. I saw them in JP Nagar Honda. Here's a sample:

I asked about tinted windshields, they asked me to contact them on the Monday, but I haven't yet found time to call them. Will keep you guys updated on that.

They also said that they'd be mailing us CBR member cards, I'm not really sure what the purpose is.

Even though my dealer had called me and told that they've mailed me the invite, I did not receive it. I rode to a nearby dealer and picked up an invite. If you didn't receive an invite/call, I think you can still just ride to a nearby dealer and take one, once you prove that you are a CBR owner.

Hope I haven't missed out any points.

@jacob - The website it excellent; just couldn't believe its from Thai; the pics are high quality & that's what is making the website excellent.

Its a must see for every C250R owners for the accessories. I'm tempted on the chain adjuster.
