Well i got scratches in my left fairing and i done repaint from service center they charge me Rs 500 and done it in 5 days... and it's like new now...Originally posted by chicmagnet View PostI got loads of scratches on my tank. Anyone got any solution for the same? Can i get it repainted, if so how and from where? Can I claim warranty?? :S The scratches though were due to my tank bag
Also, thinking, if I do get it repainted, will get the bike lacquered to keep the paint quality top notch. Any idea from where I can get it lacquered in Mumbai?
No road is enough... No destination I search...

thanks a lot bro..that workedOriginally posted by maraque View PostIt can be removed with a little bit of elbow grease. Use kerosene (petrol= too reactive, will damage the plastic. || Diesel = too mild, will need all day.) and a toothbrush (hard brushes = might also damage the plastic) to remove the wax/polish stains. Bear in mind that it won't go off quickly, you'll need to spend some time brushing.

You obviously don't seem to be a Honda representative, and neither did I take offence to what you said.Originally posted by jacob View PostWell, well... Never did i said some one is being stupid or wrong here!! I did mention it was MY views didn't i?? And about your ride, sorry to hear that happen mate.. There is nothing much that can be done about it unless you want to fly in some parts (which me and a friend did) and found it reasonable... Not advising anyone here to go my way again ...
Im no representative from Honda folks, im just speakin out my opinion

I replied matter-of-factly to you because it was your view and I wanted you to have another perspective.
I'm ready to fly in parts, but I'm not sure if the radiator is available anywhere. And moreover, the insurance will not cover anything that is not changed by the ASC. Or so I've been told.
And I'll tell you again, I'm a very happy CBR 250R owner. Just that I'm not so happy as a HMSI customer.
Happy riding Jacob!
OT: HMSI should learn from Honda Siel. I love the latter's service. You are not a chemical. So think before you react.

CeeBeeRrrr ... an absolute delight ...!!
have been following the thread which seems to be full of disgust bout the way Honda takin care of their flagship model and the avid customers. I got my bike on 6th Oct, in Pune, and the Honda guys were quite okay with the service.
But the bike felt too heavy for me to drag away. The quality manager there didnt know shit bout the problem and tried to convince me that its a new bike and this happens. The pads are new and hence clampin on to the disk.
.. didnt go down well down my throat and with a lot of argument, they finally were ready to check the rear disk caliper. Fixed it and hence I got my bike delivered finally, fine and running.
However, Post my first free service, the handle fork somehow got stiff and it was getting heavy to maneuver at low speeds. Again, I didnt know what went wrong but I had to ride back to workshop to get it fixed.
Its been quite a satisfactory ride since then. N m thoroughly njoin it... BTW... I also gt replaced my stock exhaust by a J77 Yoshi slipon with dB killer... n the hell broke loose .. since then ...

Are you fat by any chanceOriginally posted by bobbykick View PostDude !! my front & back tires keeps on reducing pressure !! God know why !!
Its probably a micro puncture
You could do the ride on thingy for the micro puncture... though I would recommend you to first scan the tyre for a puncture!
Other possible issues:
The tyre isnt set properly (Check the mark on the tyre)
At worse a RIM issue - ReplaceSuper CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

I read somewhere before that Honda has organized certain camps to get the feedback from owners. I wonder when they would implement the required improvements. It better be soon otherwise the bike would soon attain the notorious tag of being an inconsistent performer in terms of quality.
Lately i am seeing a lot of new CBRs in my city. Was the delivery on hold for sometime for quality check(improvements), any ideas?

went again for service of my baby ceeber at 1088 kms.....exactly 500 kms after the first service....had gone for paid service as didn't wanted my second free service to go waste....total bill was rs 1216...which included oil filter, engine oil, little bit of coolant and brake oil, cleaning and lubrication of chain, washing and polishing, front disk cleaning...now the bike is just butter smooth,no knocking below 3000 rpm, super silent, super sleek changing gears, and aggressive torque build up...revved her upto 11000 rpm today and managed to do 152 km/hr with still some throttle to go...(sorry but without riding gears as they are still to arrive
) this bike is a total VFM with loads of fun to drive....its so much fun to ride that i have not touched my baby r1 since past 1 month
she has been lying alone in my garage just jealously staring over my new found love
