Re: Honda CBR 250R
Yes! Good news folks. I got a call from the showroom folks that they have received my Repsol ABS 250R. I decided not to go today since it was evening time already. Will go tomorrow morning with PDI list and screw with them till they drop. Then I will bring my beauty home. Planning to get '46' instead of 26/93 on the front.
Exuberant is not a good enough word for what I feel.
Don't matter what it is: Touring; Racing; Commuting. All I know is, I belong on the saddle.
Rides : Honda CB Twister(Feb 2011 - Present) | TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS(Sept 2012 - May 2016) | Honda CBR250R C-ABS Repsol(March 2017 - Present)

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Joy Honda? I do get spares from them only. Generally, they take one week for the items on order.Originally posted by Siddhanth Paul View PostGuys! The front disk pads have worn off. And there's no stock of them in any showroom here in Faridabad.... Any idea of what other bike's pads would fit without giving any probs?
P.S. There's a waiting pd of 2 weeks-----

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Ok guys I've cancelled my cbr booking and deciding to go with fz25. I felt power is almost same till 100km/h and I feels it's more value for money. I'm really not happy to be honest but budget issues and some sudden expenses made me do this. Just want to thank all guys over here helping me out with the queries. It's gonna be my first bike and I'm not excited about it. Happy and safe riding guys

Thanks Guys.A thread that was usually flooded with headlight mods and suspension topics taking the hot spot, it's heartening to see new CBR's coming to the space once again and I wish all the guys a fantastic ownership experience. Repsol Owners do post some good pictures of your steeds with adequate sunlight from all possible angles. And a detailed pre and post partum report is a always welcome.Originally posted by madhav766 View PostYes! Good news folks. Go for the Aviator ones, they are a direct fit. If you can do some homework, remove the front brake pads of your CBR take it to the nearest Bajaj showroom and ask for the Pulsar 220's front brake pad. Check if they are the same, thickness, metal plate on the pad, if they are a match, then go ahead with it. I haven't personally come across anyone with the front pad change to that of the Pulsar 220, though I've personally seen CBRs changed to Pulsar 220 rear disc pads to that of the CBR. Just a few pages back a member post the price of the Aviator and OE Bybre pad prices.Originally posted by Siddhanth Paul View PostGuys! The front disk pads have worn off. Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Thanks Siddhanth, service centre guy gave me following estimateOriginally posted by Siddhanth Paul View PostWell I'm just taking estimates here.
Windshield-1400
Front mudguard-around 1600-2500
Fairing, now if it is the one in which the headlight is fit, it costed me 3000 off insurance.
Rear brake lever- well my gear shifter had been changed 2-3 times so if I suppose both of their prices to be same it'd cost you around 1200
Exhaust shield maybe cheap around 600-1000.
And about the disc, I think u should get it checked.
Windshield 600
Front mudguard 1000
Right side fairing panel 2000
Rear brake lever 200
Exhaust shield 700
Handlebar 900
Front fairing(grey one) 800
Actual price may vary a bit.
Front disc seems very slightly bent but it's working fine now.
