As for the front wheel 'jamming', your svc is right.. it could be any of those, but most likely a slightly bent rotor. So a brake overhaul (remove caliper, cleaning it etc..) with a new rotor might fix the issue. Again one can't say for sure without actually riding the bike or inspecting the parts.
Thanks, I will flush and replace the coolant.

I am trying to understand the cooling circuit. Any idea about where the temperature sensor and thermo switch is located?
Also what I was able to understand about reservoir is that it supplies coolant and collects excess coolant if any. how does the reservoir tank supply coolant? As there is no motor in the reservoir, is it supplied by pressure difference?

Bro, that's the most ugliest bike in the market right now I generally don't comment on looks of the bike because its personal choice but the current Karizma is exception even for my chivalry. The first gen Karizma is till one of the most handsome bikes even in 2017.

Totally agree with you. Moreover it's like only 20k cheaper than fz25 and for karizma zmr price range there are lot of good bikes and better looking too

Could not agree with you more. The current Karizma is the ugliest contraption among the bikes ever sold in India. Looks as if it were designed at the enemy camp.
No wonder EBR went bankrupt !!

You might have to ride back to pick up the fallen parts of your bike :P

CBR is all rounder bike imo.. you can pretty much do everything with it..

I myself Ride Passion X pro and CBR.. i find CBR is perfectly balanced..

If you want to commute 45km on bike, i suggest you to stick with CBR or get a FZ25..
Dont ever think of TVS.. cos the vibration it has you will hate riding it..
I don't know why people have such a low view of TVS. I owned Apache 160 2013 model. I had it for 3 and a half year when I switched to CBR. I had done both commuting and a lot of touring on that bike and I must say it's good for both. Once I rode it with a pillion and 40kg luggage to Khardung la and to Marsimik la(which is higher and way much tougher than khardung la, where most RE guys have to take out their air filters to get enough air to climb). On another occasion I rode it for 17 hrs with just 3 brakes for fooding. I did some very tough off roadings on it which includes Spiti circuit and some parts of Laddakh. It stood through all this without any part falling or failing.

I didn't know about motorcycle vibrations at that time so it didn't exist for me.

For that much cc engine and that price tag I think TVS gives a balanced machine and it serves it's purpose very well. It would be injustice to compare it to CBR, CBR is a different class machine altogether.

Even I had an Apache 180 Non-ABS version and owned it for more than 50K kms.

I never changed any engine parts till 50K.
Just sprockets over 10k kms and regular service.
Seating position never offended me and regarding vibration, yes it has a lot of vibrations. But change of oil brand and periodic Bed bolt tightening decreased to almost the level of neutral vibrations. Even on driving above 85 KMPH it gave me a healthy mileage of 45+ in highways.

To say it's an easy maintenance bike for a regular commuter. Due to my mistakes clutch plates were gone at the end.

Flush it with water, don't waste coolant to flush it. There was this guy who posted a video showing flushing his d390 with engine ice
How to flush it without fuss:
                1. Drain existing coolant completely
                2. Fill up radiator and then expansion tank with plain water (distilled if you can find it, add 30~50% vinegar to the water if you want to.. but as long as the radiator is not gunked up you can skip this ingredient)
                3. Ride the bike (or idle it for 10~15 minutes) for a bit so that it gets hot and the thermostat opens letting this water to flow around the engine.
                4. Drain this out after the engine cools down.
                5. Add your fresh coolant of your choice in to the radiator & then in to the expansion tank
                6. Keep an eye on the coolant level in the expansion tank for the next few days since it might drop (due it being sucked in to the radiator) and top up if needed.

If it's been less than 2yrs, you could probably even skip the flushing and simply drain & refill the stock coolant honda supplies. Flush it if you are changing brands.

And here is a quick explanation of how a cooling system it works:
The plastic tank where one tops up coolant is called an 'expansion tank'
The radiator cap has a valve that opens at particular pressure (value usually indicated on the cap, something like 1.5 bar or xx psi)
So when the temp rises, so does the pressure and the particular value, the valve opens and sends coolant in to the expansion tank and once the temp comes down the coolant is sucked back in to the radiator. This is the reason why sometimes you might notice a little rise/drop in coolant level.
The thermostat on the other hand controls the flow of coolant to/from the radiator to engine(water jacket). Essentially lets the engine 'warm up' before it starts circulating coolant back n forth from the radiator.

You might want to refer to the cbr250 workshop manual for more info on this. Meanwhile here is something similar from the duke 390. The principle/working is the same across such cooling systems.

Thanks a lot dear, that was a very informative explanation. That cleared most of my doubts. I am a novice and trying to learn this machine so I am throwing some more queries

1 where exactly is the thermo switch located? At what temperature does it let coolant flow into the engine?
2 after flushing, how much quantity of new coolant is required?
3 I am not able to understand how coolant is sucked back into the radiator.

Link that you have shared is not opening. Service manual of CBR250RR is available on Internet but I couldn't find it for CBR250R.

                    1. For the exact temp ratings, you might find it in the workshop manual. Maybe someone can post a link to the workshop manual here. If not, only honda can answer your question. For the ktm's we can see the temp on the diag tool as to when the fan kicks in.
                    2. Quantity - again refer your owners manual. You ideally need to just fill up the radiator (you can't really over fill it) and then top off the expansion tank to between min-max marking on it.
                    3. As the radiator cools, there a vacuum created in it which sucks back the coolant from the expansion tank. The cooling circuit is essentially a closed system with the thermostat and radiator cap opening at particular temp/pressure.

Here is a diy on coolant change on a cbr

Always read your owners manual & workshop manual(if available). they contain a ton of information.

TVS make very good bikes with descent built quality, powerful engine but vibration is the only thing because of which they are just unacceptable by various people. Though i have rode an apache 180 for a whole day tour of somewhat around 400 kms and the only thing which bothered me is its vibration BUT not like REs, they even vibrates more(apologis RE owners). Nothing more to complain about.
