You can go for the cbr. It has a lot of potential. You can use it for touring, city cruising, and for track. But as the suspension is too soft, which would not be ideal for track use.

CBR is one hell of a bike the proper bike to learn on for superbikes. i own r15 v1.0 and cbr abs both...cbr has a lot of potential and insane mid range torque you will always be smiling when riding her...its vfm...the downside is the handling which is not in league of the r 15 DNA...you can easily do 130-150 km/hr on cbr..whereas on r15 you will have to push her to limits....decision is yours what you want....power or handling???

not much of a tourer but avoid riding the bike at constant speed and do not rev her hard till first 500 kms....go for first service at 500-600kms....then again at 1000-1100kms but at this time go for paid service not much difference just 200 rs....and after 500 kms...rev her hard at few occasions till 6000-8000 rpm after 1000-1100kms service rev her as much as you want at least this was what i followed

                          • Braking effectively is a skill. But with ABS we won't make an active effort to master this skill - no offense.
                            I just feel that way
