                • I am toying with the idea of buying Honda CBR 250R as a replacement to my decade old Suzuki Fiero. Are the essential spares available easily in Bangalore? Any issues faced in the new CBRs? Kindly enlighten me.

Rs 325 for labour for changing front, rear disc pads, replacing slider chain & changing final sprocket chain. Over the above it also says, Rs 0 against Free Service. Doesn't all these come under free service?
This is common in 2 wheeler service for nearly 3 or 4 years from now. It used to be the cost of spares alone earlier. Now they have associated a labour for each spare change. This comparatively sometimes makes your bike service costlier than your car's.
Leave way and then accelarate ... then overtake ....

its a gr8 bike but we are still facing issues of spares. I'd suggest you to wait a while more if you think you'd be requiring spares too often. Bikes are available with very less waiting time though.

Thanks a lot for the feed-back, xxbomb. I am hesitating because of these horror stories only. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the time being.

                          • CBR doesn't have a centre stand so won't it would be difficult for cleaning and other purposes? Is there an option to install a temporary centre stand like in r15?

R15 has a permanent center stand option.
An option for paddock stand (temporary) has been discussed-costs Rs.3.5K I think. One of the members has also succeeded in modifying the paddock stand of R15 (costing Rs.1500) for the CBR. Please view previous posts using 'Search' feature.
