Are you thinking of changing the indicator set or only the bulb? ... I think the visibility will be affected at the cost of bling factor!

yes bro i agree wid you on this but i thing ppl are spoiling cbr 250 r ownership thread nothing else so better ignore them and we all are here for serious buyers to discuss our problems and get the solution and share our experiance about cbr.
            not to insult our bikes.
after that incident no one update this thread. every regular cbr owner left this thread for those who are collecting some info about bike.

            • Guys can v pls pls pls let bygones be bygones. Let us behave like matured people here. Aargee & all who were involved in this please let us all forget all what happened & move forward.

No 2 people are the same & let us respect everybody's point of view. Its ok if there are some healthy argument but its shouldn't get personal.

I guess all of us here are trying to help each other in some way or the other.

Lets keep aside our differences & move on.

By the way has anybody used any puncture sealant in their bikes? If yes then can you pls guide me through.

              thanks

Not used any till now, but this might help. If you haven't come across it already.

                • @aagree: could you pm me the details please? Would be thankful.
(I am away from home again and i dont know how to pm from my cellphone. I can read and reply a pm though)

Any CBR owner from nashik? Or any service experience from here? I feel the engine too rough suddenly and there is a sound(khud-khud) from engine too. But dont know if the ASC's here are competent enough. Dont wanna let it fall in wrong hands. Or will have to wait for 13 more days to go back to mumbai.

Not even a word of your post makes sense. You got it entirely wrong brother. This thread is basically for owners to share their experiences and stuff. For people who want to know if the bike i suitable for them and stuff, there is a different section altogether. It makes no sense for us (owners) surfing through useless posts and hunting for useful info. Even after reporting such posts, there are no moderator actions and that is annoying. People want info about the bike, just search, ask in appropriate section or pm any of the owners and i am sure he will be helped. Why keep flooding here as if this place is meant for chat?

Took a test ride from City Honda, Kalyan Nagar today. It was an ABS machine..

                    My observations:

                    - I could never feel the weight of the bike. Had no trouble taking U-turns, even with a pillion. Hats off to Honda on this aspect..
                    - Gear shift was very smooth and had no troubles with false neutrals (maybe my RTR experience helped me here)
                    - Felt the pull everywhere on all gears (1-4). Was riding amidst traffic, so could not push a lot.
                    - ABS does it job. Chose some sandy patches to hard brake from 60Kmph, no issues at all and the vehicle stopped where I expected it to
                    - The shocks are good

                    - Heavy engine knocking @ 1500rpm. Tested this on different gears and it is the same. Asked the service guy and he said, 'Sir, you are not supposed to ride in such low RPM'..
                    - Had a hard time reaching the brake lever and service guy confirmed that is non-adjustable
                    - Don't know why, but I really missed the grunt of my RTR

Not to add stuff like flimsy visor, poor weld finish.etc., can see a lot of discussion in those areas already

Verdict: Almost decided to join the CBR owners group
ABS does it job. Chose some sandy patches to hard brake from 60Kmph, no issues at all and the vehicle stopped where I expected it to
i request you dont try anything like this again.ABS is not a god , Tyre can easily loose its traction on gravel even on slightest change in direction while you brake hard. and yeah i to miss my RTR's grunt .
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

Thanks dreamseller, but I'm thinking of putting in the liquid inside the tyre which seals the puncture automatically once the nail, etc. is removed.

                            • Ladies and gentlemen i regret to inform you that my CBR is going to suffer the same fate as Aargee's.
Everything that happened to him back then is now happening to me.
Post first service i noticed my bike isnt willing to cross the 6-7k rpm and thus not allowing me to ride above 110kmph. Aargee had the same issue after his first service and the bike didnt do 130+ for some reason.
Today (12 days after the first service) i noticed my bike has been leaking oil from the bottom cowl(i suspect all the oil mustve drained out in the last 300kms post service). - Aargee noticed this when he was leaving his place for a trip in the morning.
I should've known the reason for bike not revving past 6-7krpm and the tremendous amount of heat the bike's been putting out post first service even though the temperature gauge was at 3 bars all the time - same thing as Aargee's

So now i am waiting to get my bike to the ASC tomorrow and blast everyone over there until i get a replacement bike cos i am not gonna sit around waiting for the engine to cease! Its more than likely that the 300odd kms i have done post service has done the damage and the bike a few mins ago didnt even want to pull in 2nd gear. Tremendous vibration at 6k in 2nd gear makes u feel like all the components are gonna explode in every direction.

So here i am. Helpless, Frustrated and uber pissed off at Honda.
If anyone has got any number or contact (other than [email protected]) please let me know so i can talk to a higher authority and get this thing dealt with seriously.

I know that if i leave the bike off at the ASC it will be there for a few days till someone attends to it and then another few weeks for finding a solution eventually after which they will ask me to ride her around just like that till she ceases in the middle of a freakking highway at 12pm!

                              So what do i do?
                              Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
