Hi Folks, posting after a long time...
It's in the continuous of engine knocking on my CBR, got multiple calls from Honda regarding the issue, service center took the photo copy of my service book's page(engine number etc) and ordered some part from HMSI.
Now received the call from Service center that Piston has arrived and you can bring the CBR to change the piston and other parts which came to change on every CBR.
I am in confusion, it's been only 5-6 months, and the engine is going to be opened to change the Piston, should i go ahead with it or demand for engine change,

They are doing it under warrenty.. So let them do it.. Hopefully ur problem will be solved else u still have warrenty.. So don't worry n go for it

i have got bajaj pulser 220 rear disk pads for my cbr but got wrong set of disk pads. i dont know which one to get old one or the new one the bajaj ASC was saying these are of new pulser 220 . here are the pic of 220 rear disk pads that i got for my cbr but they are bigger size.so returned them back. to my gud luck they took them back

bajaj pulser 220 rear disk pads can any 220 owner confirm this that from which 220 they disk pads belong to old or new ?
and these are the original rear disk pads of cbr .
3500 km done and may be they can do 1000 km more
its DIY work to change rear disk pads of cbr its soo easy just remove the silver pin and then remove the lock wid the help of screw or wid some small tool and disk pads will be in your hands in just 5 min then put new one there and lock it put the pin in and goo onn total 10 min work and ASC mach told me it will take 2-3 hour we will remove rear tyre,exaust then will put disk pads

I went to my ASC and asked them whether I should get my bike for the kit replacement, and only then they told me to get the bike, no one called or anything. Anyway, got it fixed, but one of the two bolts that holds the RVM to the fairing had fallen off and apparently none of the dealers have it. So they've put a temporary silver one that looks sorta odd . Otherwise everything seems fine, the new grab rails are more greyish than the previous ones though

My vehicle got impounded tonight at 9 PM while I parked her on an empty stretch of road, obviously had a no-parking board (good business I guess). Paid the fine and took her out, but now I feel I'm sensing some weird sound, which can be roughly corelated to ruffle of plastic covers, somewhere near windscreen/headlight area while riding. Also, one of my mirror handles was loose when I took the bike.
First time experience, pretty concerned about how they might have handled the bike.Comment
