Even i got the kit replaced today. And BTW they will give 1ltr of engine oil for free. I got the oil as well. There was some one from Honda as well. He told me that the kits are for bikes from first few lots and not the current ones. He also told me that all the kits will be replaced from the same dealership from where u got the bike. And they also have the list of all the affected bikes. The list has our engine nos and chasis nos. According to him, basically the bikes that are affected are based on a certain range of engine and chassis number. I mean the bikes between x chassis number till y chaSsis number.

thanks varun....thats exactly what i would have done back in lucknow....here, i am still getting to know things.Originally posted by Varun.Lamba View PostTry giving some 'hard talk'. If it doesn't help then you always have your middle finger at your disposal
use it and visit another svc/dealer.
regarding the replacement kit.. its basically to replace the faulty nuts/bolts which are apparently present in the first batch of bikes. Since yours is maybe just a month old I dont see a reason why you should get them changed unless you can see they are getting rusted.don't take life toooo seriously....u won't come out of it alive...!!

I visited Vimannagar (B U Bhandari) concerned person said the camp people will call you as someone had mentioned earlier it is for the specific lot and they have serial numbers according to which they will call you, mine is from July lot. Hopefully I would get a call.Originally posted by bhaskersaxena View Posthi
is this replacement kit applicable for newer batches of CBR as well? mine is Nov 2011. I tried the dealer, he was clueless and kept on pushing me to Service centre and when i checked with service centre, they were too pricey to even talk....i mean replies were " sir, we get so many CBRs every day that we deliver some of them next day post service, sometimes....please tell me what is the part you looking for, or else i can't help....i have lots of work" or please show me the mail from Honda!!!
is this normal behaviour in Pune or is it with every honda customer or is BU Bhandari odd one??
