  • finally did a nice ride today. 300kms of twisties, high speed straights and some cool scenery. The cone set changed has helped. The bike is so much more stable now especially on curves .

Q1)Can you tell me what all in the replacement kit consists of ?

Q2)Is it applicable to all the first batch owners ? I got my bike in the month of July ?

Q3) Is it mandatory that they are changing even if its not rusted ?

1 doubt, why are the grab rails getting changed?

Because they are of f*** all quality! Not difficult the disfigure the grab rails even with a piece of cloth. Other than the looks, they seem to be working fine.

BTW, a separate query: How much does the rear part of the bike vibrate? When I start it in the morning (unfortunately that is the only time I have time to notice this), and keep my helmet on the rear set, I can clearly see the amount of vibration on the helmet. Is it supposed to vibrate so much?

                    • Saddlebags / Paddock stands

                      Hey guys..

Need suggestions for saddlebags for our CBRs if anyone has tried any specific models? I inquired about Cramster's saddlebag-Colt and they refused saying it will not fit the CBR as it has mono shock and with the bag not getting the required support it will touch the wheel.

Also, I would like to know if there is an update on the paddock stands (apart from racing ones on performance racing store). Some dealer/ svcs were selling it off the shelf but that is not the case in my city and its not a standard procedure followed by all the dealers countrywide.

The colt is currently the best bet unless you get something custom-made. My colt did touch the tyre on the two rides I have taken it out so now I got the saree guard attached to keep it away from the tyres . BTW, others haven't complained about this though so I guess it had to do with the way I loaded up the bag on the bike.

Saree guard will prevent one side .. So for the other side did you use some sort of 'Jugad' ? or was it enough to just monitor the way you loaded it ? BTW, how much clearance was there between the base of bag and the exhaust?
