Its only 8K / 1 year old. Good condition.

    The owner is demanding 1.25L
If its in good condition then 1.25 is a good deal. You can negotiate a bit and owner may down to 1.20L

Came out to be a 2 year old bike which was registered last year. I have dropped the idea as of now. Thanks for your reply.

        @Mail2vasant - Check this thread - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/do-yours...nd-shield.html

My CBR is up for her first rear tyre change, I'm thinking Michelin Pilot Street (findTyre - motorcycle.michelin.in) which is available in Pune @ 5.5k

Anyone using this one? If so, how is it?

I have done some research on the net but am yet to come across an Indian review for this tyre!

          Awaiting a reply!

          Cheers~

I ride over some really bad roads to go to work. Which of the two would you folks recommend for the rear tyre: Contigo or MRF. How about the Ceat Dhoom 3?

Michelin Pilot Street is really performs well. I have heard positive reviews from many Bangalore CBR riders. Even 5.5k is also worth for this Tyre since it is radial.

IMO Contigo is worst tyre, you can try MRF. AFAIK Ceat Dhoom tyre is not available in CBR250 OEM size (i.e 140/70). So avoid it and stick to stock size.

              Update on my bike service:
I have visited Tansi Honda, Bangalore. As expected there was issue with Cam Chain Tensioner and as a result getting thud-thud sound while engine is cold. Finally they have replaced it, now issue is gone. No more weird noise. Happy!
It has been replaced under warranty and it costs around 250 bucks. Last weekend, I went to Talakadu with my biker buddies. It was Great ride of 300 kms and CBR performed really well.

Go for Michelins if you can afford or get the MRFs... Forget Dhoom 3 (I thought it was a movie)... and Contis

Friends, I guess I have a problem with my FI/fuel pump. The fueling is not consistent at low speeds, and at around ~3000rpm, if I twist the throttle, there is a momentary lag before the bike starts to pick up pace. For that one moment lasting less than a second, it seems like the fuel supply to the engine is cut off, adn again re-established.

                    Please suggest some remedy.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Thats most probably not the Fuel pump but the injector nozzle itself

Get system G from fuel pumps and use it as per instructions. It will clean the pump and fuel lines and injector.

Some A@#H&*^ Tripped my bike yesterday to the right hand side when parked. Dont know, how long it lied there at the side of the road. Guess some Car had done it. My heart was in my mouth, when I saw it lying. Now the funniest part- Except the Silensor shield, nothing was broken, not even a scratch on the body. Miracle isnt it(Handle was locked towards the left as usual)?? And yes, the Handlebar weight was bent a little(it took all the force). I was going to change it any way, as the left side was stolen since a while now.
