What the #%^$??? That's not the way DRLs work! Old-world DRLs (non-LED types) work by dimming the high beam to 50% when the ignition is switched on and when the headlamp switch is at "Off" position. When the headlamp is moved into the "Pilot" or the "On" position, the DRL mode gets de-activated and lights function normally.

So, even if the UAE model has got DRL, the implementation is very poor. Thank god they have spared us the trouble here in India. I am already fed up with people reminding me that my pilots are on (I always ride with my pilots on). I'd prefer a separate LED DRL unit any day.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Hi all, Did anyone change CamChain Tensioner in your CBR. I am getting weird sound once the engine is cold and once heated, there is no extra sound at all. ASC Mechanic told me that, need to replace chain tensioner to get rid of this problem. So anyone faced here same kind of Problem?

i have heard of this issue in few bikes done 30k+ kms.. so if you fall in that bucket i guess its time...

if not.. then please do mention what kind of sound is it ?
the chain tensioner if loose of not aligned properly will make loud tak tak noise and get back to normal after riding a km or so or maybe permenent..

Thanks; it's an amazing package that Honda engineers have put on that single bike. Brilliant suspension that really is apt for the title It takes rough with smooth.
Now there're more T'Logs that I haven't put up here rather than the number of T'Logs that I've posted here hehe
Let me start with that GQ trip of mine tomorrow, keep out an eye for that TLog

Thanks for your reply. My bike shows 15k kms in Odo right now. This problem started for last 300 kms. In cold start, loud tak tak sound is coming as u said. Once the temperature guage reaches 3 bars, this sound got vanished. This is happening only in Morning cold start. This weekend, i will give my bike for Chain Tensioner replacement.

Bangalore guys, need some help/advice here.

Which is the best A.S.C for CBR currently? last heard, Ananda Honda and Sapphire Honda were good resorts. Anybody visited these ASCs recently?
Had poor experience with City Honda (my actual ASC), Silicon Honda and Haiku Honda so looking for a better option.

Tagging @Divya Sharan as well - guess you'd be having a strong idea on this.

^^I give my bike to City Honda on mission road. I don't have any complaints and the technician there (Nagraj) seems quite knowledgeable. Which City Honds branch did you give your bike to?
