Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Yes I did check that after my post. I'm thinking to fit some white brighter light on my CBR. Is Osram Nightbreaker 55/60W (got from your post) better than any philips bulb ?

Bro, didnt get your question correctly...yes that white beam is from the LED which I have reviewed and the yellow beams are from my nightbreakers. In case if you wanted to know what LEDs are those, the details can be found here:

Hope I was able to answer your query.

Ok just noticed that you have changed your question! If you want a whiter light, you can opt for Philips Diamond Vision bulbs. The Osram NBs are not purely yellow, they are midway between yellow and white. The color temp is in the range of 4000k - 4300k.

First of all happy new year all CBR riders.

Today morning my CBR fall into road on the left side. As a result gear shifter got some bent and thus downshifting is difficult now. Luckily I have my 2nd servicing dated tomorrow. Is this bent repairable or have to replace the part.

                    Easily repair-able. Its a 20-30 sec job!

I finally made a better arrangement for fitting the aux lamps. Here are the pics of the fitting...

Yes, I had to drill four holes on the visor, but it's a sturdy mount and I have some ambitious plans of converting it into a 2-way mount, so that the lights can be mounted on the exterior and a smartphone can be setup as a navigator inside the visor as in the pic below:

Philips Crystal Vision (normal yellow) /Xtreme Vision (4300k/whitish yellow) / Diamond Vision (Whitish light) are good options. Osram Nightbreakers will also suit you fine. I am using Nightbreakers which are the 4300k types/whitish yellow and you can see pics above. In general, people prefer Philips as it is more reliable, but personally I haven't found any problems with Osrams.

Osram is as good as Philips. Osram is from Germany. I have been using Osram Nightbraker bulb for the past 6 yrs and still its working.
