Yeah Everything except the radiator has arrived. Dunno when that will arrive. I'll try seeing if the R15 shifter works. Can't move today due to a sprained left ankle from yesterday's fall.

Thanks for the tip. I tried doing that with a spanner just after the fall. The spanner got bent.

Did anyone in Chennai who got their CBR delivered in September get a call for getting the rusted parts replaced yet?

One more question, has anyone painted their alloys black, does it look good, or is silver better?

OMFG, why these service center guys are so stupid, they opened my bike and engine to replace piston, post opening engineer is saying Ring set & Cylinder pack is not available, jab tak parts nahi aate aapko bike chorni padegi.

Appu - I do not doubt the authenticity, but still, are you very very sure its a CBR? And are you the one who took the pic or was it a floating pic in the internet?

I havent ridden the bike for almost a week now. I cant seem to find a RVM hex screw anywhere here. And riding without RVM in this city is as good as running with ur bike towards the oncoming traffic. HeroMoto isnt offering hex screws either. They want me to buy the RVMs instead for 200 bucks. I thought il wait it out since my ASC has already placed orders for the same and if i dont get it by 26th il just buy the ZMR RVMs.
The vibration is still there.. im just gonna wait it out till the 26th when my exams get over and then take it in for a paid service.
Ive been contacting the ASC and the spares division here twice a week. Two days ago i was told that Honda has dispatched the Kit you guys are referring to and that they will organize a 2/3 day checkup camp for all the bikes sold here and replace them free of cost. They said they would give me a call when the date is finalized.

But i set out today to check on the ASC anyway and to my bad luck both the shops were closed and the main ASC ppl were leaving for Dharmasthala in a private carrier
I hope they pray for the spares to get here as soon as possible because post 26th they will have to change the entire Vaastu of their showroom

OMG..... This indeed some Bad Luck, Ignorant pedestrians ...There is hardly any place in Kolkata where this bike can be driven in relax mind/body posture.

At last the good news, Glad that your bike's cloth arrived....as winter begin in here . Hope rest of stuff will arrive soon. After that I think your bike need some Puja/Rituals .

Got my CBR kit replaced today. They changed all the screws, nuts and bolts in most places. and 'dont' forget to ask for engine oil too. They were not giving it but i asked the manager over there to give it as other SVCs were providing it. So finally they gave one bottle of SAE 10W30 full synthetic oil. 1l.

dont know why they clicked my photo taking the oil. They asked me to pose as we do when receiving some oscar. . (such awkward situation)

Lol..! Everyone around me keep saying the same. Some even asked me to get rid of the bike, but I feel that is plain stupidity.

Second you on that; its not that HMSI is ignoring, they're addressing, but slow on response. Its more than perfect for city rides & not inferior to highways.

This is not to offend you or your post, but I seriously doubt if this is what you are quoting it to be, i.e. 'A Honda Service Centre'. None of the mechanics seem to be wearing any of those 'working clothes' they wear in the proper service centers as a standard. Also the surroundings dont seem to be portraying any image close to a Honda SVC.

If at all it is a Honda SVC then this is a very sad sight. I hope this is reported to the company.
