  • I usually don't want to pitch in on such mods, but Strikepackage, since I know you personally, stay away from such nonsense things; NEVER, change a screw out of ASC for 32K or 2 years. God forbid, if some issues happen, you'll end up burning a hole in pocket!!!

If you still decide to go for loud exhausts, then go for one of them below for the very reason, these are built not with a single head, but by a team that has good experience, well thoughts, tested properly & do not want to spoil their reputation. Don't cite the price, if you can afford 12K now, wait for next 6-10 months to afford for another 12-15K to buy one!!!

Nice to hear about the long tour you've decided upon. Hope you've done enough homework to analyze everything required.

Come down to Bangalore and post here and we can meetup. Regarding the ASC, head to Saphire Honda, J.P Nagar / Silicon Honda R.V Road, Jayanagar. Saphire ppl let you stay around when the work is being done on the bike, so its comforting.(dunno about other showrooms)

              • Thanks RG & PSRji for all the kind of support that you both gave & also for the guidance & knowledge you both shared with me. My bike is back & I must say that it never felt this smooth ever. I don't know why but I guess my bike had the problem right since when I had purchased it cause the bike now is something which I had never experienced. Anyways I hope the bike behaves this way through out. I would also like to mention that HMSI & Venetian honda did handle the problem well & were kind enough to solve the problem & give my bike as earliest as possible.

RG in my issues with my bike you were a saving grace. I'm more than thankful to you for everything .. the time you wasted for me, for all the knowledge & support you gave & for all the positiveness you put in me as regards to my bike. My heartiest thanks to you. You truly are a gentleman. It was nice knowing you & speaking with you.

One more question, I see the cost of paddock for C250R to be 1800 in some of the posts. But when I enquired the ASCs in chennai, i got a quote of 3500+ (highest being 3900 frm Manasarovar). Is this the right price in chennai or should I bargain? Chennai paddock owners , please suggest.
the cost of paddock stand here is around rs 1200-1500 other member JACOB has also ordered stand from my city tell me if you are interested

                    • [QUOTE=orthosara;749764]OMG...took my vehicle yesterday to showroom, had an argument that replacements are confirmed news he then budged telling its not some scheme as such and it is part of camp process and took the vehicle .got a call by three stating that vehicle is ready so went there and saw the bike,i could not differentiate between the old and new grabrail and only noticeable thing was a rubber covering the mirror screws.the tech was not there so could not speak to him.took back the vehicle and did notice the jerks in the front especially when i slow down, really dont know wether its cone set issue or suspension problem.after seeing this post called the technician again to find out what has been changed ,he told the mirror screw, handle bar screw and grab rail has been changed.when i asked about the other parts thats been mentioned he flatly refused that this is wrong information and he has changed whatever he was informed and given by hmsi;.
                      now

go to the dealer and ask about the list of parts that are being replaced and refuse to sign on the paper which they give to confirm that your bike's parts have being changed. i even made them agree to change my radiator as most of the fins are bent due to their negligence going tomorrow to get my radiator changed :-)

if u r going ahead to change any alteration in the bike do remember that honda company will not give u warranty my friend.

The company is dam strict about this part buddy its all up to u if u wish to go ahead with the part changed. Or any kind of wiring done on the bike.

I have driven both the bikes well the r15 v2.0 is a good buy but its a 150cc and on the other hand if u go for cbr that's also a good buy as u get honda engine but as the company is going ahead with the spares problem I guess u can consider on the Yamaha product. It is a good bike. what I noticed that the bike had got no problems in the back as the previous version had and u get the actual feel of r1 on it. Take a test ride and u shall come to know yourself.
