See. Mileage depends on maintenance and handling. But avg KMPL of 250R is approx 32.

@..vinod shedamkar
You must getting 40kmpl on highways. What is your kmpl on city rides ?

If you are looking for a Sports tourer then get 250R, nothing will stop you other than your budget.
You can wait till 6 months or 1 year but this bike has decent power and technologies that wont be obsoleted with new coming bikes.

amyt .ya its true m getting that mileage on highways. During leh manali trip I got 35km/l and now m getting 39KM/l to 40KM/l on highway.I ride only long trips. Never ride in city's.ride only in city when I have to go at Honda ASC for maintenance. My home is at near NH3 NasikAgra highway (factory staff quarters) Khardi kasara
No idea about city mileage.

Please go through your owners manual......warranty policy starting page no:85 as a general guideline for your extended warranty unless there is a different set of clause in your extended warranty policy hence get in touch with your ASC regarding the same at the earliest.

6 months is a given, I just have doubts about 1 year.

What I have followed with my bikes is that I have used the bike for 1 year with the factory passed emission paper as proof, after one year, I took the emission test which has a validity of 6 months,
Still if you are that much concerned, then get the PUC test done, hardly costs 100rs, no point spending too much time thinking behind it.

In Kerala here we have these places with some kind of authorized stuff, where the validity of each test is for 6 months and costs some 60-70rs or so.

AFAIK - PUC done here in Guj costs Rs. 20 for a two wheeler, with a validity of 6 months.
I wonder if different states have different rates.

Well, seems that each state has it's own rate and time limit too.

Shouldn't it be like a standard rate and time interval. Strange.

Same as road tax bro. High time we had a uniform one time taxation on vehicles sold pan India!

Hi Guys

I need some help. I lately have come across tic tic kind of noise from the engine area. Starts when the engine is hot and its there in idealing till 5k rpm. What could be the reason? ASC guy said some valve bedding and stuff and assured me that it will go away. I am not satisfied by his answer.

Second part is the vibration. I feel that there is excess vibration during cruising and sometimes my hand starts feeling numb after riding for say 100kms at a stretch. First I suspected some problem with my glove, but any glove I have the same problem. Need some advice on this.

My bike is 3 months and 8k kms old.
