• Re: Honda CBR 250R

According to a recent report, Honda recently patented the CBR250RR sport bike in India. This does not mark the first step of the motorcycle's entry into India as they once themselves said that it would not be feasible to bring the CBR250RR to India. The bike may cost around INR 4 lakh (on-road) or a...

Yes, abs is nissin caliper's. The rear and brake pads cost about 800 if I remember right. Front is the one which is costly, around 2k. Both for ABS model.

4.9 lakhs for ABS variant.
30k more and you get Z650 and 60k more means N650.

Confirmed the prices, brake pads here for rear cost around 1250 and front costs around 2100. For the abs, that is.

It's just a rumour, no price has been set, a slight premium over the n300 is justifiable but not too much, but it is the most powerful and track oriented, best electronic filled package your going to get in the quarter liter segment, I'm honestly excited and if priced right could kill the n300 and r3 sales, but all is speculation, it was speculated that the 250 might come in as the 350rr, time will only tell come 2018.

Went to SVC again today. Turns out my brake pads are fine. Now they say there was issue with the sensor alignment. The guy tried to rectify the issue but it didn't get resolved. Called the manager there and he has called me in the morning and asked to leave the bike there for a while till they figure out the issue. Fingers crossed. Hope it gets resolved tomorrow.

There is no 'low' and 'high' mark on front brake fluid container. It should be always full?

shan2306 Basically there should be some fluid seen in the reservoir. If you can't see any fluid, it means you need to top it up before air gets in the brake system.

Yes, all brake fluid canisters will be 99% full. When you move the the handle bar left or right, you can see the fluid move with a small bubble which is also perfectly normal.

Cheers!

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

The option of top-up is not a wise one.

When you obeserve that the fluid is low, you replace pads and change fluid.

Mileage doesnt matter, there are only 2 reasons why the fluid level would go down;

1. Worn Pads.
2. Fluid Leak.

Since nothing was mentioned about a leak, its obvious that the next plausible culprit would be the pads.

Thanks a lot guys for your valuable informations. I just wanted to clarify why there is low and high markers on the container like rear brake container. The front brake fluid container in picture is full only. As VJ highlighted only a bubble gap is there and 99%is full.
