Re: Honda CBR 250R
Yes, you can. They will give up with a little extra torque from a spanner. The idea of using threadlocker is to make sure the nuts don't undo themselves from the studs due to engine vibrations. Of course, to undo the nut, you would exert more torque, in which case the threadlocker would give up making removal easy.Originally posted by leech View PostCan we loosen a nut stuck with Anabond or Loktite?

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Guys something weird happened yesterday, rode my bike through traffic, and then after put off my engine killswitch and the ignition the radiator is still running! First time this has happened, is it maybe due to a faulty terminal or the temperature sensor for the radiator has gone kaputt? I was just going to leave to kodai this morning, after this happened, postponed to tomorrow,

Few have reported this as a one time occurrence in their bike, so if its not repeating again you are good to go.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostGuys something weird happened yesterday, rode my bike through traffic, and then after put off my engine killswitch and the ignition the radiator is still running! If the fan keeps on running even after the kill switch is in Off position, then you may have a faulty relay which should be replaced as soon as possible to avoid running the fan unnecessarily.

Radiator terminal from the battery! And what's that?Originally posted by Deathwing View PostI had the radiator terminal removed from the battery so, left it at a friend's service center,
It can and might be due to faulty fan relay switch. The ECM activates the relay which in turn starts/stops the fan. If it's just a one off incident, I don't think it's of a concern. If you feel that the moment the bike is on ignition/started and the fan starts running, we definitely have a relay problem.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostGuys something weird happened yesterday, rode my bike through traffic, and then after put off my engine killswitch and the ignition the radiator is still running! Re: Honda CBR 250R
As per my knowledge they've discontinued both 250 and 150cc CbrOriginally posted by saikatbyte View PostDear Members. Is CBR250R (BS-IV) available now or will it take time to relaunch or will it be discontinued? I need upgrade from my Fazer. Any inconvenience is highly regretted.
Some showrooms still have some stock ie bs3 model.
Bt that bike will be a registered one under the showrooms name, so you will be a second owner if you buy that.
They'll give you some discount for that and you can clearly bargain in that..

Re: Honda CBR 250R
It has been in news that CBR series is going to re-launch soon with BS4 norms. And it's very unlikely that Honda is going to launch any quarter-liter single cylinder engine in Indian market soon. Having said that CBR 250R has got enough potential to dominate Indian market from any perspective apart from style matter as that's totally subjective.Originally posted by saikatbyte View PostDear Members. Now wait for BS4 version or transfer an ownership of BS3 model, that you need to decide.

CBR 250R ABS Wobbling Issue
Hi
I am new this forum so I am not sure this is the right place u to ask this question .
I recently bought CBR 250R ABS and between 4500 RPM and 5500 RPM I feel handlebar shaking( i tried with both hands off the handle bar in a road with no traffic) beyond that RPM wobbling stops but I still feel vibration.
I took it to the service center in Chennai and they told me it's because of the tyres and the changed the front tyre but still wobbling was there so now they changed the back tyre as well but issue still exist
Now they are again going to replace the front tyre and the Mechanic showed me with a new tyre ( but it reduces the problem but wobbling was there still)
Please help if any one has the same issue and if so let me know how you resolved it

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Hello guys..!
Anybody here used motul 7100 10w40 FS for their bike?
How does it perform as compared to shell advanced ultra 10w40 and Honda throttle?
Any suggestions on aftermarket 10w30 FS oil as i could not find any other than the stock Honda throttle.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
7100 is a very much suitable and liked by the CBR. I've used both the Shell AX7 Ultra and 7100. I've personally haven't experienced anything drastic between the both the 7100 and AX7 Ultra. I started using the 7100 due to non-availability of the AX7 my hometown. Would very much recommend 7100. Just as a note, don't go for 300V..Originally posted by pushu097 View PostHello guys..!

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Any suggestion for 10w30. I found motul 5100 10w30 online but i guess it is semi-synthetic. Would also like to know about the drain interval of 5100.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View Post7100 is a very much suitable and liked by the CBR. I've used both the Shell AX7 Ultra and 7100.
