    With a heavy heart, I sold-off my better-half, my Honda CBR250R(2011-2017).

I need a permanent fix because i bought CBR250 over Duke 390 just for its reliability and i can't compromise on it. I think i will wait for replacement parts. Meanwhile i will check with other service centers in the town to see if they have the required parts in stock. Right now i am keeping it under 5000rpm all the time. Haven't seen coolant leakage since last 2 days.
Thanks for telling about corrosive nature of coolant. I'll wipe it as soon as possible.
The part number for the thermostat cover is "114183 cover, thermostat" and 114116 for the thermostat. From the parts catalog, it appears both the thermostat and the thermostat cover are two individual spare part and perhaps the O ring might not be available separately. But you can always try asking the service center if they ARE available separately.

P.S. I've posted it for your reference, parts numbers might have been revised.

      Cheers!

      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      THE END

Can understand your emotion but what was the reason for selling it and what was ODO reading?

Other than an upgrade(which my mind needs), there was no such reason for selling-off my bike(though I havent decided any particular m/c). She was just a perfect machine in its league and served its purpose very faithfully.

I bought a new CBR 250 ABS four months back.

Based on YouTube videos and existing ownership reviews and I see mileage is above 30kmpl and top speed more than 150

But I get around 25 kmpl and my top speed is 137 kmph

            Can you guys confirm ?
Hi. Its the same for me. 23.4kmpl is my average. But then I do redline most of the Time and do lots of revs for the people to hear their competitor because people don't understand the meaning and use of honking horns.

              Hi,
I am getting 37~40 for long rides (highway) and 32~35 in city. Top speed is 130 kmph till date. There was room for more but I didn't try more than that.

I also accelerate like a maniac most of the times. Hitting limiter occassionally. I get 27kmpl.
When i used to ride sanely, i used to get 31-33kpl 100% city.

My bike does 137-138 when riding upright with a pillion. 150-154 when fully tucked in.

Got my coolant leakage problem checked with a different ASC. Thermostat cover and o ring were not available there. They also suggested shim replacement. (Odo stands at 23800km). Told me that i'll have to leave my bike at ASC for 4 days for shim replacement job.

There is no destination, I just want to keep riding.

                  Thanks.
I went on 1200 km trip but still I feel mileage didn't even touch 30kmpl
I rode at 100km+ all the time.

Do you feel any vibration after 5000 rpm?

Didn't know its compatible, I have been looking for cheap options to raise the handlebars for a long time now, (something like Helibars, but cheaper). Have a few queries before I imitate what you did-
                    1. Any cables or brake lines need be replaced?
                    2. Will any other aftermarket windshield be compatible with the TVS 200 handlebars?
                    3. How closer and higher do you now find the handlebars compared to the stock ones?

                    Kindly help, thanks.

Guys please suggest me a good tank bag which fits the Cbr. Should be able to fit a camera bag and some small stuff.

I love everything about my CBR, but it would be great if the handlebars were a little higher and closer to me (something like Helibars for CBR250). Can anyone tell if the the new handlebars on the TVS Apache 200 fit on the CBR? If yes, I have a few more queries:

                        1. Any cables or brake lines need be replaced?
                        2. Will any other aftermarket windshield be compatible with the TVS 200 handlebars? As the stock one will need to be cut from the sides i guess.
                        3. How closer and higher will the new Apache 200 handlebars be compared to the stock ones?
                        4. Cost of Apache handlebars

Any other cheap options for handlebar mod?

                        Thanks!

I am getting 42-44kmpl on highway while riding at 80-90kmph and minimal clutch usage. Previously I used to get ~38kmpl with similar riding.
Difference is a new rear tyre(PSD) and regular use of system G.

Do you know it has a 6th gear too? (Pun intended).

I am using Viaterra Fly GT non-magnetic on my CBR. I could easily fit a camera with two lens and some other stuff as well.

How much do you weight and the official speed recorded as per Honda is 148 kmph and 68 kg is what they take as adult male for mileage.

Also 30kmpl plus happens only if you side sane and with controlled wrists.
