I GUESS because of higher viscous nature of Honda Throttle 10w30 FS it dissapears/burns(slightly) from the engine. So because of summer, you may switch to Shell Advance 10W40 FS oil. Its a great oil and is comparatively thicker than Honda Throttle 10w30 FS. Do check the engine oil level after every 100 kms, if the consumption rate is towards higher side then only its something to look after.
Will do just that, yea I heard that shell works even better than Honda throttle. Will change either shell or motul ASAP and will update the result. Thanks for the advice brother, appreciate it.

I have personally used Honda Throttle and Shell FS only. And I must say the change in feel of the bike is very-very noticable. I cant say anything about Motul but at a price lesser than Honda Throttle, Shell works like wonder. Shell FS oil 1L bottle costs 650/- inr if bought from amazon.in.

        1. I'm not pretty sure about the smoothness since I haven't changed it with shell yet (Still Shell has got some serious good impression among bikers) My CBR has already done 74k on odo with honda throttle 10W30 fully synthetic and performing pretty well.
        2. You didn't mention which tyre brand is using. If you are using Continental (honda stock tyre) you may feel that flat tyre like noise because I started feel the same after using continental in front wheel. I was using MRF before and didn't feel that noise ever.
        3. Change the tail lamp bulb with a new one and if the same thing happen again consult honda service and check the electrical system.

If the bike is really maintained and in good condition price should be around 95K to 1L. Do remember it has got an ABS which is why it should be costly and provided the Tyre, Brake pads are in good shape or changed recently. Do check the it carefully and let us know.

That sounds great, honda throttle is more expensive than shell. Gonna change shell this time. Thanks pal

I'm using motul 300v for the past 2000km, I feel the bike is really smooth if kept in the higher revs, went for a ride to kodai, engine opened up and suddenly felt more smoother and powerful, will check n see the oil at 4000-6000kms , I can't comment on smoothness, will see after a 1000 n update. The issue I have with the 10w30 oils is that they start showing wear at 2000kms, I ride in a very mixed fashion, not too hard or too soft. I feel the oil changes should be based off your riding pattern.

That's true I guess. I have done couple of long distance rides after my last oil change. Mostly doing at 130km/h max. This is the first time I'm noticing the oil vanishing issue and I was wondering that what made it to come down. [emoji33] Anyway from now I'm gonna simply fill up the engine with shell or motul and check the fluid levels before every ride. Don't wanna take chances tho. Thanks for the comment bro

I think you should buy it.
In this case, was he the first owner or second?

My friend was the second owner because the bike was BSIII so on 30th March the bike got registered in the name of showroom, even KTM had BSIII bikes when we enquired in the start of this month.

[MENTION=79821]Deathwing[/MENTION] - some info on the 300v. Apparently some guy has called up Motul and they state that the 300v is a track oil, and really shouldn't be used more than 2000 miles on the street, as it doesn't contain enough detergents, only pressure addititives which make the oil great for the track.

                            1. Any cables or brake lines need be replaced?
                            2. Will any other aftermarket windshield be compatible with the TVS 200 handlebars? As the stock one will need to be cut from the sides i guess.
                            3. How closer and higher will the new Apache 200 handlebars be compared to the stock ones?
                            4. Cost of Apache handlebars

Any other cheap options for handlebar mod?

                            Thanks!
I have made this mod and I feel it is a great relief to my wrists. Apache 200 handle bars needs slight mods to fit in.

I know that brother, I'm only using to see how my bike performs, my next oil change will be changing back to motul 10w40 after the summer ends and my oil is good for another 3000-4000kms, usually the normal oil I see a burnt colour by 2500-3000kms because I suppose of my riding style, not at all red lining but staying in the 5000-7000 range mostly also , I went on my first long ride, bike was averaging 110kmph was at 110-140kmph range. I know a certain r15 rider who only uses motul 300v because he redlines his bike daily, surely that's not good but that bike can take that abuse provided you change the oil regularly from avoiding running out and hes always in the higher revs and changes his oil at every 4000kms for 300v , I find that a bit too early to change oil that too 300v at such a short interval. I have no plans to stick to this oil, just wanted to try and mainly was for my trip and bike I gotta say , it was mostly above 120 over long periods, felt super smooth, I guess that's where the oil is happy at [emoji14] . Will update if I face any issues, as far as I can say from my point of view, bikes running pretty normal and you are right it's best for track and that too good for 2-3 track sessions.

Don't worry, just keep searching you will definitely find one and when we are in search of pre-owned vehicles it may take as long as one month to search for a perfect match and perfect fit[emoji106].
