Honda is giving a 10K discount on CBR250 irrespective of the dealer. You will have to ask & claim the same. I had called their customer care and got to know the same.

Just saw the same in their website.

I asked the sales person the same thing but he denied. & I wasn't aware of this offer. It seems this offer just launched today.
So I will go tomorrow to the showroom n would demand for it again. & Now the offer is official so I would get 10k back for sure.
Now I can buy good helmet & some accessoires without any wait.

Note : I always use helmet & hand gloves when I drive my Activa.

Just bought the bike yesterday n now Supreme Court's judgment came on BS3 engines.
Now again worried as no reg of bs3 vehicles would b done after 1st April.
What should I do now ?

As long as you have all the documents that you have purchased the vehicle before 1st April you can register it. However it is better to do the registration today itself. Approach any agent near your RTO and ask them to do it. They will charge around 700Rs. If you give all the required documents ie,temp registration documents you have received from dealer to the agent they can register the vehicle by tomorrow. The Registration Certificate will be couriered to you within a month time from RTO.

@pinkesh2703 congrats on the orange beauty brother!
@thread - I have completed around 450km on Suzaku and I'm planning to take him in for 1st service tomorrow. I'd like a bit of advice from all of you. I've never had a taste for confrontational conversation, so I need some tips on how to go about this. My current situation stands thus - I bought the bike from Dhruvdesh Honda, which is a stand alone dealership at Mekhri Circle. They don't have a service centre anywhere near the dealership which is purely sales. Now I think I screwed up with checking fluid levels during delivery. The dealership didn't even have a paddock stand, so I had to manually hold the bike to check all the fluid levels. Having no experience with doing this, I think I might not have held it correctly while doing so. I definitely misread coolant and front disk fluid levels. As of now, the coolant level stands at the lower line in the coolant reservoir and so does the brake fluid in the front disk reservoir. I'm getting a snarky feeling that I've fallen pray to the dealership trying to extract money from me for the first service and I've got a feeling they will be charging me for coolant and brake fluid top up.

I know that both fluids should've come fully topped up, so I want to be sure of myself when I go in tomorrow. I want to make it clear to everyone at the service station that I know that the fluids should've come fully topped up and I won't be paying a penny for the same. I want to be able to reply with confidence when they make up their reasons to charge me. One of the things they might say is that fluids magically evaporate during the run in period and I have to pay to get them topped up. Does that happen, though? Coolant levels reducing during run-in? I'm 100% sure that the brake fluid doesn't reduce like this, since I have experience with that at least. Second, is 500km too early for first service? The manual specifies 1000km for first service, but I can feel the engine getting rougher with every ride now, so I want to get the engine oil replaced. I figured I'd get the first service done at the same time since it only involves checking basic stuff. Also, If I get the service done now, I don't have to go back till I feel the need to or am nearing the service interval, correct?

            TIA.

I mentioned MRFs from the factory because these are the same tyres which are on Hornet 160, I read a few ownership reviews which says that they are satisfied with the grip its offering.
Coming to the part which I have highlighted in bold above , I checked few sites which mentions Zapper S as Radial (below are the links) . I am really confused now.
My usage is basic commuting and touring( hence I want to go with VFM offerings of MRFs instead of MSPR) . I don't ride aggressively around corners , having said that I want good wet grip. So , thought of knowing how Masseters are before going with the Zappers.

Zapper s is not a radial.. it is a bias ply tyre. I can confirm this since i am using it on my bike.
Coming from Contigo, zapper was a relief to me initially but as time passed things became more clear.

Coming to your point wet is grip is just ok. And mind it. I am talking about wet tarmac not about mud and slush. Because if that is your concern zapper s is aweful.

Rest i would say if you dont want to spend much and opt for MPSR then better give masseter a try. I am sure it would perform better than zapper if not as good as MPSR.

Yes! The bike is back. I will update the review soon! I have also heard a lot of good things about Tansi Honda, but I don't know if it's worth the travel. I live in Yelahanka and it's a long travel to Tansi Honda. How long did it take for your first service?

Guys, bought a greatly maintained CBR250R ABS 2013 model yesterday, for 90k . Had run 26.5k km. The owner has changed the front two tyres to new Zappers.

Here's a short review of how this feels coming from Duke 390.

The riding position is one of the best, the bike feels like a 400cc bike more than Duke did. Has ample torque but not any where near that of Duke's be it from stand still or in-gear. But what it has over the Duke are the brakes and smoothness. My God, this Honda is smooth. Overall a good bike. Planning to keep it for another two years.

This perfectly clears all my doubts. Thank you very much . I will go for the Masseters and update my experience.

I have given my bike here in Kerala for first service. Planning to do rest at Bangalore as I am working there.
It took 4 hrs including rectification of wobbling issue.

What about the revz c1 and f1 I think the rear is a 150/60 which fits well on CBR but affects the bike while going over potholes, etc, I remember somebody from here tried that size., Not sure about the long term experience.
