Re: Honda CBR 250R
Madhav, the brake fluid reservoir is 98% full with just a little air gap just so we can actually see the fluid moving. If you see the brake fluid level hovering at half on the window when the bars are straight, your fluid levels are indeed very low. And usually SVCs don't fiddle with the brake fluids, it's factory filled, be it coolant and brake fluid. Though coolant does evaporate to an extent, it's hardly even noticeable. Brake fluids never ever evaporate into thin air. Instead of going for a scene at the SVC, tell them the fluids are low and request them to top it up, as part of the first service, and then insist that it's not normal as the fluids should come topped up from the factory.Originally posted by madhav766 View Post@pinkesh2703 congrats on the orange beauty brother!
@thread - I have completed around 450km on Suzaku and I'm planning to take him in for 1st service tomorrow. I'd like a bit of advice from all of you. I've never had a taste for confrontational conversation, so I need some tips on how to go about this. My current situation stands thus - I bought the bike from Dhruvdesh Honda, which is a stand alone dealership at Mekhri Circle. olves checking basic stuff. Also, If I get the service done now, I don't have to go back till I feel the need to or am nearing the service interval, correct?
TIA.
Can you share a picture of your brake fluid reservoir so that I can clearly assess that if you require a brake fluid top up.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Yup, the fluid is at the "low" marker when the handlebar is straight. Will click a pic and upload it here in some time. Should I make it clear before service that it should have come topped up from factory? It usually does right?Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View Post

That's a pretty good idea actually , even I will check with local dealers here. As long as you can provide proof that you have purchased before April 1st you can register it in RTO . Please correct me if I am wrong.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Those are radials (same in duke200). Though they perform well but i have heard that they are puncture prone.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostWhat about the revz c1 and f1 I think the rear is a 150/60 which fits well on CBR but affects the bike while going over potholes, etc, I remember somebody from here tried that size., Not sure about the long term experience.
And secondly i would prefer sticking to the stock size. Opinions might differ here but i have this ocd to stick to the stock specifications always [emoji4]Burn the rubber, they said

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Guys I'm planning to change my oil and oil filter due to my usage and the weather change, I'm planning to move to 300v oil instead of normal very motul, does it offer a better viscosity or should I stick to the oil I am using. Bike's been pretty smooth. I have this habit of changing oil every 3000-4000 km, I give the bike for service without oil every 6000km or soo without oil change,.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
If your bike is smooth then don't consider switching to the 300V. As long as you are comfortable with the smoothness of your engine, and have good mileage, I'd strongly suggest you to stock to what's been offering you the best performance. You'll regret switching to 300V sooner or later.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostGuys I'm planning to change my oil and oil filter due to my usage and the weather change, I'm planning to move to 300v oil instead of normal very motul, does it offer a better viscosity or should I stick to the oil I am using.
