Can you please let me know your thoughts on the Masseters? Is it too soft to be puncture prone like many have complained about the MRFs here in this forum?
How satisfied are you with it?
I think Masseter are a good deal breakers when you compare the already "sweet spot" Michelin PSRs. Though MRF proudly claims that this tire was conceived in the track. User experiences are pretty much on the positive side. The sidewall is definitely rounder, which means you can take on corners pretty much easily. I am pretty much sure this would be partly a dual compound tire, though MRF clearly mentions this as soft compound. The tread pattern ins interesting which can expel pretty much good amount of water during wet rides and should provide satisfactory grip levels, from what I can infer from it.

Though personally I don't think it should be any radically different from the Zapper S, mind you this isn't A RADIAL, this is a bias ply which is as same as the Zapper series, so ultimately if you require even more better performance and life, go for Michelin Pilot Street Radials.

    Cheers!

    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      Thank you for the inputs,
I mentioned MRFs from the factory because these are the same tyres which are on Hornet 160, I read a few ownership reviews which says that they are satisfied with the grip its offering.
Coming to the part which I have highlighted in bold above , I checked few sites which mentions Zapper S as Radial (below are the links) . I am really confused now.
My usage is basic commuting and touring( hence I want to go with VFM offerings of MRFs instead of MSPR) . I don't ride aggressively around corners , having said that I want good wet grip. So , thought of knowing how Masseters are before going with the Zappers.

Hi everyone. Sorry I couldn't read the previous message on which bulb to buy and in a rush I ordered the osram night breaker laser 12V 60/55W H4. I like the upper beam more to be honest, and the light does seem strong. Will post the pic soon. Thanks for the help and suggestions.
        Ride safe, cheers.

10k, if this is for the ABS equipped motorcycle, it's a steal for sure, and makes the non-ABS even more affordable. Lots of dealers pushing the BS III vehicles to clear inventory by offering discounts. But, mind you, you have to SPECIFICALLY ask for it, if you don't they just smile and casually bill the normal value. 10k to 5k is not a bad deal after all. I've personally known folks here in my circle offering discounts of upto 5k via PayTM and stuff, off the ex showroom price.

            Cheers!

            • How do I whet a second hand bike

I'm in the process of buying a CBR 250 ABS 2012 Honda with 10000 kms on the meter.
im apprehensive as this is my first time going into the second hand market.
repair being expensive I'm over cautious.
the deal looks good at 85000/-.
how do I know the bike has not been damaged in an accident? Or when dropped, skidded.......
how do I test an engine for worthiness, has it been run in well? Has it had regular oil changes? Has it adhered to the Honda maintenance schedule?

Apparently all service has been done at Thr Honda service centre Khandivili. How does 1 verify that?

im keen on a tourer and can't find a better alternative, especially at this price?

Supreme Court Bans BS III Vehicles From April 1, Says 'Health Over Commercial Interest'

I guess now even registrations of bs3 might not be allowed from April 1st (even if they were sold prior). Let's see how this plays out in various states.
For e.g. in Telangana, you get a Temporary registration number on the day (or next day) you buy the bike (online process) & then you have 30 days to get the permanent registration.

Honda keeps all service history online. You can get all service history of honda bike if you ask politely and give bike ragistration to service center people.

Once i cross checked my bikes service history and it's appeared up to date!!

I would say NOT to buy 2012 model CBR250.

its 5years old, not about the engine but electricals and other stuffs.

Pre 2013 model costs a bomb on some spare parts, if you don't have luck and those expensive parts demands a replace, you may regret with your decision.

                    Best of luck mate.
                    Cheers.

Update : It turned as a cone set loose problem. Strange. Surprised to hear the cone set got loose in 500 km. It took 2 hours for them to identify. They have given back in 1 hour saying that it is rectified. But after test riding I felt the same wobbling effect but less than before. Now again they took inside service centre and given back in an hour. This time when I took test ride I didn't feel the wobbling effect. [emoji106] Upon asking the reason they told that the cone set was loose and they have corrected it.

Exactly what Aditya said. Though most of the prices for the parts remain the same, certain parts like ignition lockset for example and alloys are pretty expensive. Though this topic has put forward, would be glad to see inputs from folks with respect to differences from the earlier version to the new version like single to dual horn, changed ignition key lock setup, alloys to a different manufacturer, these are certain things that come to my mind.

But, definitely I'd suggest you get one equipped with ABS MY 2015 and later for a slightly more price as opposed to non-ABS one.

                          Cheers!

Honda is giving a 10K discount on CBR250 irrespective of the dealer. You will have to ask & claim the same. I had called their customer care and got to know the same.

Just saw the same in their website.
