Tip 1: Tell your parents. If they are the yelling type, tell them at last minute and then run out.

Tip 2: Check oil level, air pressure before any major trip.

Hopefully i didn't had to change all this as I used it for 8k kms and took a decision very sensible decision ASAP. What's the point on spending so much money on a 250 where even the maintainance of litre class motorcycles is less. I am too happy that i sold benelli and got myself a CBR. In love with this beauty. At last, Honda is Honda! Cheers!✌️

Also installed frame sliders and tank pad that day itself.

When i see a Benelli on the road, i feel why on this earth he bought such a useless bike.
This is not to hurt owners.

            Good decision mate.
            Cheers.

                  - cant cruise over 100
                  - low economy (30-ish in city. I used to get 33+ on the CBR)
                  - head starting leaking at 4500. Company was 'cool' about it
                  - no tubeless
                  - quality issues persist (compass has a mind of its own, outside temp faulty etc)

My bike journey has always been abt Japs - CBZ/Karizma/CBR250R/SF150 and then the Himalayan. Great buy, but I couldn't convert!

One of my friend owns Himalayan so rode it few times. Even I felt after 100 kmph speed, bike didn't go smooth as we expect. Also I felt some vibration at 100. It's like bike has power but 24 bhp seems not be enough for this bike.
My frnd also had some issues like side stand indicator remained always On, oil leakage etc. He also got Odometer replaced.

Got the baby CBR for Rs 1.45 lakhs on road due to discounts on BS3 vehicles. Honda Navi was also free at purchase of every CBR but I insisted my dealer for discounts instead of the Navi.

                          Actual On Road- 188500
                          Discount- 43000
                          Current On Road- 145500.

Dealers here wont go above discount of 34K, or Even I would have got a new one yesterday. Had gone with full cash. Had he given me at 1.45K , would have taken it. Bad luck.
