Yes i know bearings are wear and tear parts. But bearings gone at 12500 kms is not acceptable.

Wildly OT : Wow. You guys have a very progressive relationship, sharing bikes and all. The concept is very new to me. I mean, I don't mind the odd ride here and there on another's bike or giving mine to another, but I think I'd be very uncomfortable sharing for days at a time. This is a very personal view point, but I wanna know - aren't you scared they'll ruin your bike? Understand that I'm not talking about them crashing. Your bike, over the kilometres, would have aged around your riding style. Suddenly having someone else, with a different style ride it... Well, it's scary no? Or am I just a paranoid nut job?

Wish I could have a friend like this who own a bike and trustworthy too. I have very limited friends and either they are out of town or doesn't own a bike.

I cant think of it. I will be worried and tensed if someone else use my beloved bike or car even for a day. they are like my family members. I just love and care them. Even if its my very close friend, i will be worried but I wont block them for taking for an emergency or unexpected need. Similarly I wont ask anyone for exchange bikes as I wont get sleep at night

Guys my rear tyre is worn so I am looking for a replacement. My need is mostly highway touring and occasional off roading.
I surveyed a few options which I am listing below
                        1 Pirelli sports demon 2800/-
                        2 MRF masseter 3200/-
                        3 Michelin PSR 5100/-
4 Vee rubber dual sport 2800/-

Currently I am using Vee rubber dual sport which performed well in different road conditions and worn out at 16k km. At front I am using PSD and I am happy with its overall performance. Kindly suggest the best option considering my need.

Update on my tyres, finally started to grip, cornering fun is back ! Did a small bypass run during work 120-140 comfortably, also really pleased with the tyre comfort , compared to the mrf which didn't do too well under bumps, etc, also lot more confidence breaking in sand and wet surfaces, I have to say these tyres are the perfect touring tyre for the bike, also picked up a viaterra claw saddlebag and tank bag for 6000 in total, after 30000km only im taking this bike on a proper tour, I'd like to thank all the mods and guys who gave me the inputs and corrected me on the street better than sporty, will do a review After 15000-20000km by then the bike would have done 50k km , bike and tyre review in that order.
