not sure. Will update after meeting the manager today.
Take a few pictures and keep them handy. I would say that once you inform your svc, also shoot an email to honda with the picture and mention that you have informed the svc and expect a resolution immediately.
That tire definitely needs to be replaced.
The svc should help you get a replacement under warranty i.e. they will guide to the tire dealer and you should have to get the replacement done at the tire dealer.

    For the Free service
You can get your bike serviced at any dealer across India. I'd advice you get a prior appointment and stay around while the bike is getting serviced.

But if you are looking to drive traffic/publicize (or only feel good when someone gives a 'like'), then I'll shut up now. (honestly, some of them chattering monkeys with a gopro makes me want to take a stick and __ )
What matters at the end of the day is if you enjoyed your ride. Doesn't matter if your pictures/posts got a million likes or not. And am sure you'd continue riding.
No I have nothing to do with publizing it, its just I have seen members here quite frequent on other threads where there is big bike or DSLR pics are involved.
My riding will continue, logs here wont.

Labor charges which could set you back by 350/- or so.
That chain lube thing, You should tell him not to do next time onwards. Do it your self with chain cleaner and spray.

₹250 for coolant? I thought a whole 1L bottle of coolant costs only ₹250!

              Ask them about it.

Yes they charges 250 just for topup, better buy 1L of coolant and refill when needed.

Estimate of ₹2200 is very high. Should not cost over ₹1500. My regular service costs around ₹2000. Also, coolant top-up was mostly done free of cost for me.
The cost of coolant(1L) shouldn't be over ₹200.

Why do you need a coolant top up? Shouldn't you have it fully topped up already? They're supposed to do that before you get your bike right?

Rest of you please let me know. I managed to get a look at the coolant level in the reservoir and it's at the lower level. I think it shouldn't have been this way.

Keep a check on coolant level. A new bike runs hot mostly and may need a frequent coolant top-up.

All you need is oil filter and oil replaced. Around 1.5k Everything thing else is to get more money out of you.

Coolant top is not even required for CBR since the coolant doesn't vanish like few other bikes. Keep the bike straight and check the coolant level, should be somewhere between max and min. Coolant replacement is 2 years later.

I would suggest you buy the coolant offshelf from SVC and use it when you require. Since even if the top up required is only a few drops, they will charge for the whole bottle. Better buy and use it yourself, it's pretty easy to top up.

Similarly with chain lube, with the cost they are charging, you could buy a lube and use it 3~4 times.

Next oil and airfilter change is at 12k km. Oil filter should be changed every alternate oil change. Airfilter depends on where you live and how dirty the roads are. Get it checked in next service, if it's too dirty then go for replacement.

A new bike or old bike should never need frequent coolant top up. If it does, then there is something seriously wrong with the cooling system.
Ideally on a new bike (or when you drain and refill) , the reason why a top up is required is because after a fresh fill we invariably do not fill the radiator (and the engine cooling jacket) up completely. So some coolant is sucked in from the expansion tank in to the radiator once the bike gets hot.. so just a little bit (usually 100ml or lesser) is used to top up the expansion tank. Thereafter there shouldn't be any major loss in coolant.

Oh my bad, that might be the case with my new 390. IIRC, had the similar experience with the CBR initially.

guys, what actually do the svc guys do in a service?
engine oil change? just done abt 250 kms ago
coolant top up? got it done last week
chain lube? I do that myself

just have to get the fairing installed properly as the mechanic left a huge gap between the panels -.- and that is not satisfying to look at..
                              P.S. It's gonna be a paid service

Well guys, here is the update. Reported problem at ASC. He had taken vehicle inside service centre to check the tyre. After 40 minutes he came out and informed it is doubtful to get it replaced under warranty as they are suspecting I have done some off-roading due to the tyre got cut and it is not manufacturing defect. I tried to convince him that I didn't do nothing that sort and finally he asked to check with the tyre dealer (conti) whether they accept it or not under warranty. I went to meet the tyre dealer manager and explained the situation. After seeing the tyre he told it is not major problem since the cut is not deep. He told within few KMs that cut mark will disappear. However I insisted for a replacement as I can't take risk and my major travel will be on highway.

Result:Tyre dealer replaced the tyre under warranty. [emoji106] They have charged 75 Rs for wheel alignment and fitment charge of new tyre.

Thank you for the advice VJ,s1d and leech.[emoji106]
