Fair enough , main reason is the weather and its getting hotter day by day or else I'll stick to whatever my bike is using at the moment. Also planning a few tours 200-700km range soo bike will be running longer too.

Bike's been pretty smooth. I have this habit of changing oil every 3000-4000 km, I give the bike for service without oil every 6000km or soo without oil change,.
On the honda you should be fine with the motul 7100 10w40.
I ride a ktm in even hotter temps (40~44 C in summers) and have done 700km in a day a many times (hyd-chennai-hyd , hyd-vijaywada-rajahundry-vijaywada-hyd twice, hyd-belum caves-hyd etc..) and I am someone who can ride for around 3 hours without a break doing around 90kmph all along. If a ktm can hold up to such riding on a 7100, am pretty sure the honda will too.
For someone who regularly changes oil within specified intervals, there shouldn't be any issues. Just ensure the cooling system is working fine (coolant age/level, radiator fan) and you should be good to go.

            Hi ,
Has anyone found solution for mirrors looseness problem, I have new mirror on left the moment I tuck that inwards the screw becomes loose but doesn't happen with right mirror. I have to tighten that screw atleast once a week which is very annoying and it has washers and everything.
            Regards,
            Mohan

Use a drop of purple Loctite threadlocker towards the end of those Allen bolts. Don't ever use the Red one. Green and Blue ones are of medium strength, but not sure of their application on those tiny bolts. Purple one is safer and can be removed with hand tools.

As long as you are under recommended grades (10w30 to 10w40), you won't have any problem. I am currently on 7100 10w40, (5500 km done today), did a ride to home on Holi (1900 km to and fro) without any issue. Before that, was on Shell Advance ultra of same viscosity -- both are equally good. My Shell stock has arrived and will fill the same this weekend.

Right. The fluid levels are always filled from factory for all motorcycles, be it engine oil, coolant and what not. If you find there is a low level for any reason, then insist that that top it for free as the recommended levels aren't set from the factory itself. Usually a positive attitude helps a long way.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

So I bought CBR 250 on 29th March. Hence asked my dealer if I am eligible for the discount.
He simply refused saying that disc offered from 30th March. Hence u won't be eligible for it.
Now what should I do ?

What can be done? Either you can go to an unknown place and cry, kick and shout your heart out, as much as possible and come back calmly. Or you can just ride your new bike and get to know the bike more. Yes, there are terms and conditions, and in just two days most of the Activas and stuff, were sold like hot samosas here in Hyderabad.

                    Cheers!

Simple : dealer is there to make as much money as possible. Once you remember that, your dealings with dealer will be more circumspect. Make sure you follow up with them to get your RC book.

This is with the steering turned all the way.

This is the level of front brake fluid. Coolant is also in a similar position.

This is the best I could do with the coolant indicator. :P

                            Both need top up right?

Got my CBR250R REPSOL edition 2 days back. Previously I owned a Benelli TNT25 which was literally a senseless machine! For instance, the chain sprocket case costs 13k, Rear brake pads cost 4.2k, Annual 3 servicings cost 10k. So fuel, insurance and accessories are a different story. Hopefully i didn't had to change all this as I used it for 8k kms and took a decision very sensible decision ASAP. What's the point on spending so much money on a 250 where even the maintainance of litre class motorcycles is less. I am too happy that i sold benelli and got myself a CBR. In love with this beauty. At last, Honda is Honda! Cheers!✌️

Also installed frame sliders and tank pad that day itself.
