In an "ideal" situation where you are crusing at 7k, you can extract over 35 kmpl with this motor. Its the sweetspot where you are gobbling the good distance with great efficiency.

I do get 31-32 kpl on my daily ride of approx 90 km - 44 km one way to office from home which includes 25 km expressway and 19km of Delhi traffic. On expressway, my ride varies between 6k-8k rpm. Motor oil I use is 10w40 Motul 7100. It may be more efficient on 10w30.

At 140kmph what is the RPM?
And revlimiter is at 11k or 11.5k ?

Little less than 9K RPM to reach 140, but it takes time to reach 9K RPM. Rev-limiter is at 10.8K RPM.

            So this happened:

A screw got stuck in the rear tyre and broke a chunk of the tyre hugger.

When the puncture shop guy took out the screw it was almost 2.5-3 inches long. The hugger isn't affecting the tyre rotation and is priced at 100 rupees only according to indiaspares. But the real issue is I think the screw might be from the bike itself. I couldn't find a place it could've fallen off on visual inspection but it's night so hard to see. Gonna see tomorrow and going to go to SVC first thing when I return home just to be sure.

            Ride safe.

So went to dealership today to get status of my bike.

They said by Feb mid only 2017 lot will roll out and we will give you the 1st bike to you.. Most it will be the Repsol ABS version which will come in 1st lot. and then non abs will follow.

Think so it might be BS IV model.. not sure..

They told me to come by feb end for paper works ( Bank stuff ) and by Mid March i will get my ride..

I think CBR 250 is already BS IV. In 2013 Honda gave the CBR an ECU update which made the bike run leaner.

Hey all. The time has finally come. The money is there. The approvals have been received. The excitement is at its peak. I will be booking the bike sometime this week. [emoji16] I think I'll get the Repsol edition itself, ABS obviously. Dreading the long wait for it though. Gonna see if I can somehow get it earlier. Bangalore owners - trustworthy place to book? I will mostly book it at Dhruvdesh Honda Mekhri circle itself. I'll be going through aargee sir's PDI post, but you guys have anything to add? Let me know!
Don't matter what it is: Touring; Racing; Commuting. All I know is, I belong on the saddle.

Congratulations. You can also go through this thread for more info.

After receiving quite a number of PDI queries on numerous ownership threads, I've decided to amalgamate my experience, articles, snippets from different sources, from around the web into a single concise article, for folks who are getting their first two-wheeler. This post is not just limited to motorcycles, but should serve as

Just make sure you write down or take a photocopy of the important points for PDI. We do tend to get carried of getting a new vehicle, so keeping a pamphlet would come in dandy handy.

                        Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                        THE END

Why not the 300 instead? I mean with HMSI , I doubt they will release this as it makes no sense in our market at this time.
